The best chocolate I've ever had, ever. Incredible variety, too. The pralines and boozy chocolates are super unique and I've yet to find a place that compares. I could spend a lot of time trying every single thing they make, and I plan to-- eventually lol!

First of all the chocolates speak for themselves. They are rich creamy smooth and worth every cent you pay for them. Store employees cannot depend on that and give subpar service. There are other brands in the NY market that has the similar product or better. I asked for a sample like I do when in Belgium the customer service agent gave me a look. She gave me a sample but charged for it. I have done Nehaus and been given samples of new products or a few extra pieces. I would have given 4 stars but took one away due to her demeanor. Staff here is a bit cold and not welcoming. In future I will just order online as they have better specials than in store

We went there on V-day, quite a long line! I'm not a chocolate person, but this place still attracted me. I got surprised when I found they have a second floor, very cute design, on the second floor they have a coffee table, you can have a seat with your friends. At the window case, there are around 20 types of chocolate, and also with beautiful boxes. I like truffles but couldn't be able to get it this time. The price here is not bad. Will recommend it to friends.

I went to buy a specific box of chocolates but needed assistance selecting the one I needed to purchase. I couldn't tell which one it was in the assortment available. I wanted to show the sales associate the picture of the item I was looking to buy but she refused to look at the image on my phone. She waved her hand in front of my face dissmissing me and the photo! I was shocked by her rude behavior. I asked her if there were other locations in NY and she did not give me a detailed answer and said I could google to find the other location. I am extremely dissapointed with her service and hope that management sees this review. For all I know I may have selected the wrong type of chocolate since she did not help me.

Excellent chocolates with assistance from knowledgeable staff. The hot dark chocolate you can order from the cafe upstairs is richly decadent and the perfect pick-me-up for dreary weather. And all hot drinks come with a complimentary chocolate on the side!

Having a Belgian boyfriend, it's been a tradition for him to buy me a large box filled with a variety of Leonidas chocolate every Valentine's Day for us to share. I've been to the store in Antwerp, Belgium and enjoyed Leonidas chocolate at its freshest peak, and I have to say the ones in Hanover Square NYC are pretty good in comparison. It's such a treasured moment when you lift up a beautiful piece of quality chocolate from a perfect golden Leonidas box, place it in your mouth unsure of what awaits inside, and have the in-depth creamy flavors melt on your tongue. Surely good enough to bring a smile to your face!
Loved this chocolate while living in Europe, still order a few times a year still while living in the States, and simply put, this is the most incredible chocolate. Online delivery is speedy as well. Must have!

One of the only Leonidas shops in the US and dangerously close to my house. It is SO good and very reasonably priced for artisan Belgian chocolate. The adjacent cafe also makes the more delicious hot chocolate, thick and ridiculously rich. I wish they were open longer hours though.

I'm a hot chocolate snob, and I have to say that the hot chocolate here is excellent. Manon Cafe is located inside of Leonidas chocolates. It's upstairs on the mezzanine level, so it feels open and spacious. It's a cafe, so I don't recall there being any non-chocolate food options. However, they have a large variety of coffee and espresso drinks, and I believe they also have some teas. What I was really there for was the hot chocolate, and that was done right. Like all good hot chocolate, this one had a milk base. What I appreciated was that it had a rich flavor, and they used high-quality chocolate (I didn't notice whether it was powder or actual melted chocolate). The texture was smooth and rich without being super heavy (although I'm sure there are lots of calories). The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 was because they didn't give me my piece of complimentary chocolate with my hot chocolate (and I didn't realize I got a complimentary piece of chocolate with my drink until I was already on my way out). Otherwise, the baristas are friendly and the hot chocolate is some of the best in the city.
