Honestly a little disappointing — for starters, I was 12 mins late meeting my friends at Leon’s (totally my fault — I walked in the wrong direction for two blocks) and when I arrived the host said I should go to the bar where my friends were as they were still getting the table set.

The host then brought us to the table where he said “because you WASTED 15
you now only have 1 hr 45 mins” until the next reservation. I totally get that they need to keep reservations moving and again it was totally my bad for being a little late, but the attitude was a bit of an unpleasant start to our meal. Plus 1 hr 45 is still plenty of time to have dinner so we were okay with that. If he had said we have another table at X time so you have to be out by then, would’ve been fine it’s just his tone was aggressive with the “wasted”…

I also get that they’re a newer restaurant but they then really rushed us to order, the waitress kept checking in to see if we were done with each course when it was clear we still had food on the table, and we finished our entire meal with 30 minutes to spare before the next reservation. The experience was just so unpleasant we decided not to get dessert. And on top of that the food was good, but nothing amazing so it wasn’t really worth the attitude and agita to be totally honest which is unfortunate. Plenty of other places to go in NYC where the pacing snd service is better.

They were great with gluten free food. I am celiac and they walked me through the menu to let me know what was safe for me to eat. Unfortunately no gluten free pasta but most everything else is gluten free.

My exes would say I can be difficult and YET the staff at Leon’s met every one of my requests with a smile and provided some of the best service I’ve ever had in the city. I’ve since been twice, and both times sat at the bar. The Bitter Margarita and Brown Butter Sage Sorbet are crowd pleasers and the bartenders are my new best friends.

A friend and I came here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and absolutely loved it. The restaurant is gorgeous and the staff are quite friendly, warm and attentive. My friend had the Sunny Side Eggs with the Beans Alexandria while I opted for the Shakshouka. Both dishes were flavorful and so damn delicious.

We planned our company holiday party with the help of the wonderful team at Leon's this Jan and can't recommend enough! First of all the space is gorgeous, high ceilings and lovely decor - it feels both chic but comfortable at the same time. We were sat in the private room which was the perfect space for our group - spacious and insulated from the main dining room but with interior windows if we wanted to open up the space a little. The wait staff was so friendly and accommodating - we didn't have to ask for anything because they were so on top of everything. And not least of all - the food was delicious!! We ordered the eggplant boulettes and octopus salad for apps, then the grilled fish and strip steak for entrees (both cooked perfectly) and finished with the out of this world tarte au citron and caramel flan for dessert....hands down a 5 star experience and can't wait to come back!

Great new restaurant! The space is beautiful- big booths, large windows, quiet enough for a conversation but lively. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. They ran through the menu and helped picked dishes to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions. All of the lunch food we tried was delicious- the shrimp and potato salad, tuna carpaccio, and the lamb were standouts!! Definitely will return!!!

Great room, vibe and service. Liked the food options. Only downside, several dishes (escarole, busiati and tuffoli pastas) and were overpowered by salt. Falafel and eggplant were very nice. Excellent wines by the glass.

Saw the warm lights from the street and was immediately taken aback by the beauty of the space. This old tile store now boasts a delicious food menu and spectacular wine program. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of Kate and Ben serving us. Looking forward to trying brunch!
