The cookies are still amazing. The atmosphere of the original basement location is either great or terrible depending on what you like. It's charming but cramped and not very accessible.

Maybe an off day? I was excited to be back in the city and get a cookie however it fell short this time….when we go back to our hotel to eat the cookies…the bottom of mine was crispy and burnt. Disappointed for sure. Hopefully their quality control will be improved.

Walked way out of the way to get this iconic cookie, but it pretty much failed. My coffee was good, could’ve been hotter, but solid. The cookie was dry, nearly burnt. Definitely not gooey. The inside was essentially like a dry cake. Perhaps an off day, but definitely was not a worthwhile trip for me.

Yummy, delicious, flavorful cookies, and friendly staff. We stood in line outside as they were super busy, but so worth it!
Worker was noticeably sick and coughed around the cookies and counter.
