Levine Bakery is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of NYC! Their cookies are like big bites of heaven - crispy on the outside, yet oh-so-soft on the inside. With each bite, you're transported to a world of decadence and delight. Give the other delish baked items a try as well! If you're in the mood for a sweet escape, Levine Bakery is the place to be!

A huge slice of banana chocolate cake on display and when you purchase a slice, it’s a very small thin slice for so much.

The Levain Bakery cookies are really good. And The cookies that I recommend are the chocolate chip cookie, and the dark chocolate chip cookie. And the other cookies were delicious. But the Levain Bakery was a bit small though, but everything else was good. ?

I went there because it was so Levain~! I ordered five cookies, excluding vegan and oatmeal, and they were delicious as they said! But the staff member who took my order didn't understand allergies, didn't understand what I was saying, and just packaged the five cookies I ordered into two. I didn't like it because they gave it to me, but when I went in to buy the bag, the male staff member who asked about it was very pleasant and gave me a nod. It was a short response that made me feel good and friendly. Since we lived in the UK, we blamed our pronunciation, but the other staff understood our words perfectly. In the end, even though we are of the same race, they were so unfriendly that the only person who made me feel bad during the entire purchase was that staff member. I am very satisfied with the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.

Delicious food. Great service. Unique atmosphere. The cookies are very thick, so if you like thin crispies, I would not tell you to come here. But, if you’re a thicc and gooey gal like me, you’re going to enjoy the two-chip-chocolate-chip cookie they serve. A bit on the expensive side, but it’s worth it.Dietary restrictions: If you’re allergic to peanuts, I wouldn’t eat here, bc it seems like they probably make everything with the same stuff they make their chocolate-walnut cookies, so bear that in mind if you have allergies to nuts.

God Bless y'all Levain. I haven't had these cookies since relocating to the DMV but just had some when I came up this past weekend. Still hits every time. Question is when are y'all relocating to DMV lol. Thank you.

I think Levain cookies are synonymous with the city at the point. You cannot plan a trip to NYC and not have one of their bakeries on your list to visit. We were in the Central Park and decided to walk down to the original location of this bakery. It's a small bakery which cannot house a lot of people at one time, but that doesn't discourage people from waiting for their turn. Even though it was cramped when we went, the servers behind the counter were super sweet and were not rushing us out the door. They answered any question anyone had with patience and a smile, which I really appreciated. We got a dark chocolate chocolate chip cookie and a classic chocolate chip walnut cookie. Both the cookies were very very tasty, and I would've loved to warm them and then dunk them in cold milk! But we enjoyed them throughout our day in the city and relished eating bite.

Bought cookies online. The outside are crusty but the inside seems to be undercook. Do not recommend them…

Tiny location but the cookies are exceptional! Crunchy outside, creamy inside. The staff is lovely, I went there the other day and unfortunately the system was down and they were literally giving cookies for free (not even accepting cash as a tip!) 100%recommended!
