Went here for my mom's 75th birthday, and the service couldn't have been more wonderful. The waitstaff were so kind and attentive, and the gratis biscotti and limoncello at the end of the evening was a nice bonus. They really made it a special night!

My Sister Christina lives at E.88th and Lexington and she took me to the Lex when I recently visited her. I had the lasagne and it was the best I've had from all the Italian restaurants I've been to. She just sent me 2 servings, in Detroit, and I was stunned at how delicious it was after that journey. Wait staff are the greatest as well!!!

It's a restaurant that discriminates against Asians. They said they shouldn't have made reservations because they were fully booked, but other white people came without reservations, but they let them all in. Then, they said all reservations were booked, but when I looked after time, not even half of the tables were occupied. Don't try to offend others and try to avoid other people. Use this place! Let's not be racist

We had to send back the rack of lamb, because we didn't know it was fried, so we ordered the Branzino instead. Good flavor but we prefer the skin a bit more krispy. I ordered my steak medium rare the first 25% of the steak was over cooked, but still juicy, once I got to the center part it was cooked to perfection. The fried calamari was delicious.

Amazing food, made a reservation for 4 online and it was phenomenal. We all got different pastas and loved it. Service was great, ambiance was a little formal and adorable, with real roses in every table. Was super empty 6pm on a saturday, which was great!!
Stopped by last time on a last minute change. Host was great. Food was amazing. Staff was very attentive.

Came for the chicken parmigiana at lunch but wasn’t impressed nor would I be coming back for that dish.
The big issue was that the dish came soggy. The chicken was on a bed of linguine which had a very wet and watery sauce. That sauce soaked the crust of the chicken and the result was less than ideal.
The pasta was ok but nothing amazing.
The menu said that all entrees would come with a vegetable, but it didn’t. I was thinking maybe because it was lunch but the menu I was given and ordered from was clearly labeled “lunch”.
The AC gets blasted inside so I opted to sit outside. Felt like a forgotten place as the only time anyone came out was to bring food, take away food and bring menu. Would have been nice to get water filled up or checked in to see if I needed anything (I wanted crushed red pepper).
