The steak frites was tasty, the steak was properly cooked, but it was a bit grisly. The service was great, as always, the restaurant is a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

My family had a very pleasant meal here on a Saturday night, when the restaurant was very full and lively. And yet our server was super prompt and attentive, got all of our complicated order perfect, the food was delicious, and everyone was very happy. I hadn't been here in a while, and am really glad we chose L'Express, which has been around for a long time. We love this cozy neighborhood restaurant and hope it stays around forever!

Blow away by this place, food was amazing, looking for something unique, the frogs leg and cassoulet was unexpectedly fabulous (who else has frog legs like Paris)as well as the latte, I am a coffee snob, but this latte was way above what I expected and I have high expectations- highly recommend, btw it’s Kolbrick coffee NYC brew

The food was wonderful! The ambience is true upscale bistro so it's not possible to possible to have less noise or more space for the guests and staff.
Went for Thanksgiving lunch and it was so delicious! All the options on the regular menu were available as well as a fixed Thanksgiving menu.

What a warm and homey slice of Paris in New York. The familial atmosphere was just what we needed on a Sunday evening. The duck cassoulet was sublime with balanced flavors of duck, sausage and white beans. The salad niçoise had the perfect variety of green beans, olives, tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes, and was topped with generous cuts of seasoned tuna seared to a delicious medium well. Both of these dishes were highly recommended by our server-extraordinaire, Moises, who also made us feel warmly welcomed. Highly recommend L’Express Bouchon.
