Leyla is surely a beautiful, cozy restaurant with a nice romantic vibe to it. The hostess, waiters, and servers are polite and pleasant. My friend and I decided on this place for dinner as we were looking for turkish cuisine, which I am truly fond of, and stumbled here.We ordered the following:MuhammaraLamb shankLamb Koftra with potatoes and side of riceWhite wineI've eaten lamb in many places and for most of my life, and unfortunately, the koftra was not edible. The meat had little to no flavor of cumin as described on the menu and was extremely gamey. I am a cook myself, and I would not serve this recipe for friends or family. It lacked flavor and probably prepared at the time of order, unable to absorb the flavors that could have been used. The lamb shank had some tender parts and some rough. I'm used to "fall off the bone" lamb shanks, but I will say the flavor was good. It's better than the koftra. Now the muhammara was absolutely delicious. And the wine was good as well. I do believe this restaurant might just have other great options to try. Thank you for the experience. Overall, pleasant.

Burger was very dry and barely edible. The drinks and rest of the food were acceptable at best. I would just recommend going elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Was seated in the sidewalk cafe. Had a rat that caused us extreme emotional distress. Asked for discount and owner told us “this is New York.” Added 20% gratuity to our bill even though we were a party of six. Absolutely abominable

I went here with my boyfriend because we were in the area and craving Turkish and this place had good reviews. The food was extremely underwhelming and I don't know if it was just that day or if it is always like that. The meze trio was lackluster and served with toasted sourdough which is an odd choice for a turkish restaurant. The short rib pide was good but under salted. The worst of all was the main entree which was the izmir kofte that did not have a grain of salt in it. I got the lamb shank in which the only saving grace of the meal was the mushroom orzo (salted!). We had to pass the salt shaker to the tables near us because they had the same issue too! I've had turkish food plenty of times before so I know it is not the cuisine, its just here. I wouldn't have cared if the dishes weren't priced so high. Please listen to the reviews that say that this place is just okay, because you can get "okay" anywhere for less $$. The staff were also very kind which was nice. This is one of those places you go to if you like going out for dinner but don't like food.

Service is very poor. Waited more than 30mins to be seated although we have a reservation. Food took ages to arrive. Average food. Would not repeat.

Fantastic Turkish restaurant! I highly recommend the three cheese pide; it wasn't overly creamy and tasted amazing, especially with a touch of honey on top. Plus, they serve traditional Turkish ice creamBtw, their service was excellent.
