Host was very rude. Maybe he was having a bad day. He tried to take my plate away without asking me first and then came back a minute later to ask me if I need anything else. Then two more workers came after one another and asked me the same question. Most of the outdoor dining tables were empty so I don’t know why they wanted to rush me and my husband.

We didn't get to eat here with my colleague. Unfortunately one of the hostess was extremely rude when we were asking for a table, she gave us an attitude and talked to us like if we were going to eat for free. It really ruined the appetite and the moment, so we left. Never again.

I work in the area and have been here for lunch and/or dinner frequently with colleagues or friends. Many times we had the issue that the restaurant doesn’t over gluten-free alternatives which in this day and age and at the price point of the restaurant is unacceptable. I spoke up many times but still. No change. Overall I feel the quality (and amount) of food has diminished somewhat and so has the menu. Disappointing!

Le District of the pristine North Cove Marina, along with its fantastic views and luxurious yachts is prime real estate and Liberty Bistro has the perfect spot for dining.
First you are greeted by their charming staff: we were looked after like precious jewels, or was it because I was accompanied by my handsome husband and my gorgeous friend?
Delicious appetizers and entrées. To begin, we shared the Herbed Hummus with Goat Cheese & Charcoal Grilled pita bread. My Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Mustard Remoulade was exactly as I like it. The gentlemen n enjoyed their Liberty Charcoal Grilled Burger with Fries and Crispy Fried Cod Sandwich respectively .
++ Add good wine, good drinks, along with very good company.

Service: wasn’t the best which was surprising to me because this place is amazing. It was a bit careless. I have been watching this place for a while now and always had the desire to have lunch there and I finally did it with my aunt. High quality restaurant food, branzino was perfectly made, along with potatoes and vegetables served on top of it, sautéed spinach uh-mazing! Unbelievably delicious! The view of North Cove Marina, Hudson River and Jersey is absolutely stunning and the best sunset in the world. Allow yourself to be wooed by New York City 🌆 ☀️ 🌊 🌸 🌳 🛳️ ♥️🗽

The views and service are great. The food however is terrible. My wife got a dish with guacamole in it and I’ve tasted better from Walmart. My muscles were mostly closed and the broth was average in taste. No one at our large table was feeling the food was good. If they sort out the kitchen this could be good but it sadly is a long way off.

Upon not being able to sit outside, we opted to sit inside, which was a fabulous decision. The view outside might be great, but the ambience inside was very elegant and cozy. Our waiter, Vinicio, was very kind and had a keen eye, our glasses were never empty. For the food, I had the Crispy Shrimp and the 10oz Steak. Phenomenal. The Crispy Shrimp was unlike anything I ever had. I highly highly highly recommend it. In fact, I even asked for the recipe. Now to the steak, it was medium rare and I was once again just blown away. It was very tender, my knife just slid through and the meat melted in my mouth. There’s not much more to say, because words can’t describe the taste and experience I had here. 10/10.
Now for my German friends: Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside, but that doesn't matter. The view outside is great, but the ambience inside was very elegant and cozy.
