We've been coming to this location for years, since the NYHRC days. The gym and facilities are still nice. But they've started holding LOUD exercise classes out on the gym floor with no regard for the other paying members. It's nothing short of obnoxious! I can't even hear my own earbuds over that racket. It's a shame, but I'll be looking for a new health club. They need to be more thoughtful about ALL of their customers--especially at these prices. Get it together LIFETIME!

I have been coming to this location for the last month and have had a positive experience every time. There was enough cardio equipment for everyone to go around. But the weight section needs to be included. PROS: 1. There is space to move around and put a mat on the floor for dumbbell work. 2. The music is not unbearably loud 3. I have never had to wait for a cardio machine 4. Normal people (not everyone is a supermodel) 5. The place has been well-kept, and I wonder why everyone complains about unkept locker rooms. When I am there, there is always an attendant cleaning, and I've had no complaints. * I am not even going to put this in PROS because this is the main reason why I keep coming back every time, and that is the Pilates with Julie. Pilates is not for the weak, and I took my very first Pilates class here, and it has changed my life. It is an experience that is worth every penny. The classes are reasonably priced, and Julie (the instructor) makes the class worth even more. Pilates is only as great as the instructor; Julie has been doing this for over 40 years. I feel welcomed, unjudged, and supported. If you are already a Lifetime member, I'd highly suggest taking a Pilates class with Julie, which will ultimately elevate your experience. CONS: Even though Lifetime is a nice gym, and I've been enjoying my time there, I would say the "gym bros" at this location are brutal. Every weight machine is taken by a 20-something-year-old guy who does a set of one, sits there for 20 minutes, and repeats for an hour. This definitely takes away from the experience since you are left waiting for something to open up. I am not huge on weight machines, but I'm waiting for someone to leave when I want to get them in.

I joined this gym a month ago after needing a change of atmosphere, one that reflected a better vibe and more of a work crowd. From the moment I walked in, the smell was excellent, the staff pleasant, and the sign-in process simple. I love that people in this gym are working out and focused. Now, here is where I am sold. I joined the reform Pilates class with Julia; what a great trainer and motivator both my daughter and I signed up and made this our home gym. We go at 6:00 pm, and there are no issues with finding equipment to use or space to stretch: nice size, swimming pool, sauna, and classes. Whatever we need is here, and I am pleased we enrolled. I have visited Noho. It is nice and clean, just small; Penn beautifully loved it and will be back for a class. Expensive but worth it

Beautiful, modern, well maintained club with nice amenities and amiable staff. However, they only offer TechnoGym elliptical machines which, as hard as I've tried, I just don't enjoy. I hope they consider offering Precor or Cybex ellipticals here in the future or at the new gym that is yet to open on Park Avenue South.

Please clean the bottom of the pool . It's disgusting . Also please have people wear bathing caps - I've seen women with super long hair swimming with no cap on and it's gross. Also, even though the showers close at 1030 pm I'm tired of getting death looks and having comments made at me by the locker room attendant if I shower at 10:15 pm. It's unpleasant.

Excellent Gym, more like a country club. Staff is always nice. Location is great and easy to get to.

Shout out to the front staff and the concierge manager. I was very fustrated with something with my account and was going to switch gyms and the front mangers concierge manager stepped up and understood my frustration and corrected the issue instantly and compensated. Thanks.

assholes walking looking at phonesit is more difficult to move from one machine to another than lifting weightsl have to be looking at their faces for them to move to one side many times I have to stop to let the princes pass first.

I was visiting NY for 2 months and chose to get a membership with Lifetime fitness and I'm so glad I did! The equipment was pretty new, the staff were super welcoming and helpful with all of my questions, and it was a clean facility overall. If you're looking for a gym home, look no further!

The Gym stuff is amazing the people is good, but the Gym is very dirty all the time, is not clean enough, the floor is wet is dangerous I had an accident, and hurt pretty bad, because the floor is wet and the manager do none action in that issue.

Overall it is a great gym and I would have given five stars, but they eliminated the ability to reserve a lane in the lap pool. I used to swim here almost every day, reserving a lane ahead of time, but now I never swim here because swimming lanes are "first come, first serve". I can't just lounge around the pool waiting to a lane to open up. It's a major loss for me personally. Perhaps others like it.

Nice gym full of a wide variety of weights and cardio equipment. I would say, if you are willing to pay a little extra for a premium gym, this is the place.

Dont sign for the pool. Its been neglected big time. Several spots of rust and black. Should get a more efficient filter as well. Saw a big guy swimming in his underwear thinking he was the real deal... Nasty. They don't check if you at least rinsed yourself before jumping in either. And was very disappointed to see I could comfortably stand up anywhere in the pool and im only 6.1.Most of the cleaning staff are very nice props to them. Feels like they do their job even if too many rich wanks think its ok to leave their sh** behind because they pay $300/m. Animals. There is a lot of space so you feel comfortable anywhere you exercise. TVs all over and music loud enough. Not worth the price tho. This gym should be around $200/m no more.
