Foods great. Service was fast and they were packed. Blue lemonade is great. Highly recommend the garlic honey wings, the cabbage and the yams. Crab cakes too. Parking was doable but doubled up lines of cars in road. Mac n cheese was good. Prob wouldn't get the Mac salad or potato salad again. They're good but just not how we like ours (we are from down south so different strokes for different folks).

Drinks and food were phenomenal. Services was slower but personal. Thought prices were a bit high but the portion sizes made up for it. Nice ambiance and decor with either dine in or take out service.
The food I ordered might’ve been alright if I got it in store but it showed up to my house soggy. They gave absolutely no condiments with my fish and chips. No type of sauce or lemon or nothing. Even though I requested it in the order notes and even OK’d and up charge.
It’s a large portion of fries but they didn’t travel well and not even one packet of ketchup. The fish tasted ok but it was a lot more rubbery than I anticipated and I chose not to eat it most of it.
If the in store experience is anything like the delivery experience I would 100% avoid.

Came in to order food for a dinner and everything was perfect got lobster Alfredo deep fried catfish dinner the shrimp dinner and honey garlic wings never got the food to go but was not disappointed

Eh. The food is OK. Tables way too small. There was a $25 TIP ADDED AND UNABLE TO BE REMOVED on the bill. Mind you, the service wasn’t even that good… so yea. If you don’t want that added to your bill, don’t dine here. With $25 I could’ve gotten a whole other meal. Again service wasn’t good at all. We seen our waiter twice, so what am I paying $25 for? Trying to support black businesses but they take the prices too far.. Also there is no SILVERWARE. Eating on plastic and WITH plastic. Why am I paying a $25 gratuity ?

Do not go here!!! Please save your time and money and go somewhere.
The music is way too loud and they will turn it up louder and louder. It was already really loud when we came in and we were trying to have a conversation. We asked if it could be turned down a little bit and the server said there are some people who want it turned up. The whole time he would wait on us and he couldn’t hear us and kept saying huh. There was a DJ on the other side of the restaurant
When we went they were only taking cash and automatically added in gratuity for 3 people. The service wasn’t worth it at all. Then at the end the guy asked if we wanted our change despite already having charged us a dine in fee. The bill came and it was under $100. Then they charged us the fee along with tax which brought the bill over $100. Mind you it’s 3 people and we only got entrees and non alcoholic drinks.
The server gave me the wrong sides and when I asked for the correct one he looked at me and asked if I wanted to order an additional side. He got an attitude when I asked for what I ordered.
The food was not worth ANYTHING. Earlier in the year when my friends when everything was cheaper. Everything has increased drastically. The fish still had the fins and everything. When I asked the server why he said it’s mainly for presentation. That doesn’t explain having fins when it’s supposed to be a fried fillet. The fish was hollow too.
None of the people in my party of 3 were satisfied with anything and it was honestly a subpar experience.
I’ve been here a few times. I don’t think there’s a dish here I don’t like that I’ve tried. The wings, macaroni, shrimp, fish, greens, cabbage, potatoes and rice are all well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The empanadas are delicious as well. I’ve had the shrimp empanadas. I really like the banana pudding. One time I tried the banana pudding that was in the case (not behind the register) but not the cake. The owner I believe said it was from a vendor. That was good too… it was just thicker and sweeter. I believe it was made with a sweeter cookie. It just didn’t look like their regular banana pudding. As in it didn’t have great presentation. I also tried a tres leches piece of cake from the case. That was good as well but I had a corner piece and I don’t think the whole cake was soaked in the milk. I’ll definitely be back. There are more things I want to try like the pasta and more seafood items. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food tastes as good as it looks.
