I truly wanted to like this place. I was having lunch with 3 other friends and when I walked in I liked the look of this restaurant. But, things stopped being good right there. The hostess was oblivious that a human being was standing in front of her. I said hello and she said can I help you? Right there and then I wanted to leave but I couldn’t as I was meeting my friends. I told her I was meeting 3 other friends and she pointed to one of my friends who was already there. Things got worse quickly. Waiter came over and rudely asked as to how many bottles of wine we wanted. We told him none. Then continued to ask if we wanted to order any drinks from the bar? We said no drinks. We told him we wanted to order appetizers. He said perfect we have carabineros shrimp, there are 6 in an order for $125. May I bring 5 orders to start? At that point I started to dislike this waiter. He did not stop to up sell us from the beginning. I rudely said no thank you. I then ordered crab cake , octopus and calamari as appetizers He left with an unpleasant look on his face . Later on The food came. I must say. It was excellent. Then the ordeal to order the main course started. Not sure why it was so difficult. Ordered lamb chops, tuna , and lobster with pasta. These were also good. For dessert we had a new waiter. Very nice and polite maybe because I spoke Greek to him. Ordered the deconstructed baklava the portokalopita and a version of Kataifi. All great too. My thoughts. Such an expensive restaurant giving this kind of service it’s unacceptable. Will I go back?. Only for the price fixed menu, which is about $50.
Im very disappointed in the waiter that was handling the table for me and my fiancee. Some latino fellow with an all white attire. Im not going to go in to details but what I can say is that he was not professional and didn't leave me comfortable to going back atleast not in the near future. Other than that, foods great with a nice cozy environment but the management needs to watch waiters like that.

We had the lunch from the prix fixe menu. I had the octopus which was delicious. I followed with the branzino - also excellent and the orange sponge cake with lavender ice cream for dessert. For $39 I'd say it was a great value. With drinks/coffee and tip the bill was $100 for each of us. The server was excellent and the place got busy quickly! Lovely ambiance.
We have been to Limani in both Long Island and the city many times and it normally is a pleasant meal. However, when we went to Limani in the city on Monday night we were extremely disappointed with the quality of food and the service. We ordered a Greek salad to start and we felt that the restaurant was skimpish on feta and tomato. Then we ordered the special chips and the Greek cheese that comes with it wasn't cooked fully. Lastly, the waiter upsold us on fish. We wanted the Dorado but the waiter insisted it was a portion for 1 and told us to get the seabream fish. We were not aware that this was market price and were shocked when the bill came back pricing us at $150 for the fish alone! The atmosphere was good and the wine was nice but ultimately the food and service was disappointing and I don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

This restaurant was beautiful, clean and stunning. Really good food. The hostess Naja, I believe, was really nice! She sat us down as walk ins and has amazing energy. 10/10
Food was excellent as always expected from a Limani location. The lunch special had a wonderful selection including dessert. The decor is charming with the maritime modern motif and center fountain in the dining room. Our seat was challenging next to a giant pillar by the kitchen could have been better. Wait staff was kind and gave excellent wine pairing, although was not very attentive when the lunch rush picked up. Very pricey as expected would probably not return if i wasn't being treated to lunch on someone else's dime!
Beautiful ambiance, excellent food, great service! If you want to try delicious greek food, I recommend this place. The serving sizes aren't too small as most places are, and for prefixes they have loads of options.

This was my third time having a pre theater lunch. It is a fabulous restaurant to attend pre theatre! Their “luncheon special” is delicious and you have plenty of time to walk west to your theatre!

We dined on a Saturday night prior to a show at Radio City. Food and service were excellent. We had the octopus, stuffed calamari, and spanakopita appetizers and a side vegetable dish and it was enough for the two of us. Service was attentive and smooth. Unlike some other reviews we had no issues with noise level. I could see how seating/noise could be a bit of a problem as several of the two person tables are right next to each other, but no one was next to us for most of the time we were there. Prices were a little high but not outrageous considering the very convenient location. I would recommend and will dine again if we are in the area.

My friends were visiting from France, I wanted them to enjoy a place with good food, good service, good ambience. I've always enjoyed Limani visits in the past, we were not disappointed. Lunch was wonderful. Thank you.
