Great room albeit with somewhat lived in luxe vibe. Service a bit slow but courteous. Appealing menu but perhaps execution was off this night; the kitchen was particularly heavy handed with the salt. Would come back for drinks at the bar to enjoy the room and location.

Our waiter was outstanding: the perfect bslance of friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Duck meatballs with polenta were superb. Pasta fresh, al dente and sauce delicious. Sea bass and beluga lentils perfectly cooked. Espresso kept us awake through La Forza del Destino and beyond.

The food and the service here are always top notch. You never feel rushed pre-performance. The pastas are always outstanding and the wine list has many interesting choices by the glass.

Kevin our server was excellent. Food was excellent Restaurant design was attractive and comfortable with room between table. Sounds level peaceful enough to have a conversation. Downside was lack of interest of busboys/helpers at our table. It took a great effort to get their attention. Kevin was terrific but he needs support from the team. It spoiled an otherwise top notch experience.

This is the perfect spot for a quiet intimate dinner before the theater or anytime really. Courses were served with enough time in between to savor each. Dishes weren't cleared until they knew you were done. You so seldom get this kind of service where every restaurant is rushing to get you out so they can turn the table. Every pasta looked wonderful. So it was hard to choose. However, we did love the cavatelli with pork sausage. The misto salad was enough for two people. I wish we had only ordered one. The deserts are to die for...baked apples were absolutely the best ever. Couldn't have been better.

Experience was good, but not outstanding. Service was up to part, although food presentation could be improved. Too many waitresses roaming around while customers are having dinner.

The food is not authentic Italian food. I had the Parpadella Ragu, & it had s spice that tasted off & was definitely off. The last time was there I had Bucatini Alla Matriciana & the spice was so hot that I couldn't eat it, & I sent it back. We've been regular customers, but we'll never be back again

The restaurant was wonderful about multiple changes in the reservation. They were terrific about service that got us to the theater on time. Many in our party complained about the quality of their meals and one meal, a salad, was served long after everyone else was served.

We ordered the foccacia with the delicious broccoli rabe pesto. It worked wonderfully with the seafood combo dinner. And the chocolate raspberry cake was to die for. We had a lovely quiet corner table and our waiter was caring, handsome and absolutely charming! We were attending Madama Butterfly after dinner -- and it was pouring buckets, so the convenience of the restaurant was perfect. All in all, a wonderful romantic evening!

It is an excellent restaurant, difficult to get in at times. I was curious about that, since I still saw many tables empty at the time that should have been completely booked. Perhaps too many tables for the chef and staff. Truly enjoy the food and going there. The only thing that held back my selection from five star, I thought the lamb was very slightly gamy in taste, but the butternut squash ravioli was wonderful, so were the duck meatballs.

The food and decor were great, but the service was not good. We had great service before but not this time. They served the main courses while all the appetizer dirty dishes still on the table. We asked to pack the left over appetizer, and it stayed on the table for almost the entire meal. The payment took a very long time too.

The attention to detail is clear, all staff are there to serve, unlike many restaurants where staff avert their eyes so as to not be distracted by one's request or need, staff here are always looking to help and be a part of the team to serve you. Food was excellent but for me, the greatest value is in the service.

I will not return soon. My guests and I were flabbergasted at the arrogance and audacity to serve a scallop entree special of only two scallops without vegetables to savvy patrons. We were equally disappointed by the small in size and number of the meatball appetizer. Wise up Lincoln! There are elegant other NYC restaurants in the area that give their patrons value and sophisticated dining.

Lincoln is a culinary delight. The wait staff and chef treated us to awesome recommendations. Figure hamachi - absolutely delish and creamy burrata apps matched duck breast with a lightly coated cherry sauce that isn't overwhelmingly sweet - perfectly blended flavors with gnocchi and greens and swordfish served with lightly breaded and slaw-like beet salad on top. Quite yum. Go after pre-theatre, and the place will be to yourselves! Great atmosphere, quiet, and a completely enjoyable experience.
