Dinner at Little Frog was fine. Some dishes were very good (eg the duck) and others very disappointing (eg the seared Tuna). The tuna was lower quality fish than I expected with a poor tasting crust. We enjoyed our appetizers and thought the service was very good.
Great environment for dinner with friends! Our waiter Juan was so attentive last night and offered great recommendations. We loved the spanish octopus, would recommend to anyone in NYC!
What a great little place.. food and drinks were excellent.. ambiance just lovely. Staff was so pleasant and Melinda was a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to returning .. sincere thanks to all the staff for an extremely enjoyable evening!
Nothing special about this place would be an understatement.. Great food, great price and great service. We love everything about this place and will return with bigger party ?. We arrived just in time for Happy hour $10 martini and $7 beer. It's truly a hidden gems on UES. Thank you.
I ordered the steak frites, $44 for a famously cheap cut of steak so I expected it to be amazing and worth the price. I asked for medium rare but it was definitely rare and as for taste, apart from some salt and pepper, the steak was completely underwhelming and fatty. My friends enjoyed the duck which I would get if I had to go back. The creme brûlée according to my friends was not very good.
Food was delicious!! Cocktails were really good too! I would definitely come here again. It was such a cute and cozy place. I’m glad I found this gem. Just make sure you bring cash because they charge extra for credit card. I still highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back. Order the Coq au Vin (it was perfect)
Fast friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. Perfect new years eve dinner
Three of us ordered the steak and one of us had the risotto. The three that ate the steak (from all different households) were all very ill the next day. The place has a little bit of a french feel to it, but not worth it for the food.. Also the service is rather mediocre... understaffed.
Food was pretty good - the French fries are awesome. The bar is a little small and close to the entryway and it’s in a weird location but would recommend trying it out!
One of my favorite soups in a French or Italian restaurant is Onion Soup. Since I am 79 years old, I have had many. The Onion Soup here was extremely disappointing. It barely had any onion taste, and secondly, I hardly saw any onions in the soup. The cheese topping had no cheese taste to it. After that disappointment, I decided to leave without ordering a main course. The restaurant charges about a 4% credit card use fee.

Really great bistro with a friendly staff and a fantastic weekend brunch. Do yourself a favor and walk a couple of extra blocks away after your MET visit to really enjoy your meal.
Wonderful French bistro. Wine and food was amazing and the staff were awesome! Highly recommend!
After moving our reservation twice because we were with friends we finally showed up at The Little Frog right before last call and the kitchen closing. The service was fantastic, they accommodated us quickly. The food was delicious, the drinks wonderful and the desert (Floating Island) was perfect. This is a neighborhood gem on the UES.
The Prosecco bottle made this an extra special brunch. Lol. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly. I would have liked more sear on my steak but it had good flavor. I honestly left tipsy and happy which I feel is what brunch is such an awesome thing.
Best. French. Restaurant. Ever!!The escargots were amazing. The bread crispy and served warm with real butter.I ordered the moules marinières it was served with french fries, the skinny one super crispy and warm bread. After those amazing dishes I did order 2 desserts. I advise you to try the old flottante and the creme brûlée to DIE for !Your welcome ! ;)
