2 pieces fried fish with fresh cabbage salad on a bed of rice and beans, $14.40. It was very good, tasty, not too salty or spicy. The server was friendly. I will purchase here again!

TIME FOR A REAL REVIEWI have been here before, so I can say it's an ok spot. I would ask around for other carribbean restaurants before I settle on this one. The optics of the food is great, but I must say it's a shame that you can not get mac and cheese as a side. They charge you extra for mac and cheese. Whatever you do, don't order the yams. They are undercooked and don't taste well. Check the pictures. Also, the curry chicken is nothing but bones. Every fork bite needs to be spit out due to the amount of bones. You think you got chicken, but it's mostly bones. Check the pictures.The name has been changed to Island Cusine. Fyi

No offense the oxtails need to be more seasoned there was something bout Jamaican oxtail that couldn't beat no other but now ah days it's not worth that price yea the oxtail expensive but make it good

Oxtails have no flavor at all wasn’t even enjoyable, the cabbage was soggy, the Mac n cheese had absolutely no cheese in the middle of it and also no flavor. The lady told me she been there for a long time, well it’s time to get a new cook of close down because this food is horrible

Worst Jamaican food ever ! Curry goat has no flavor neither does the j*** chicken rice ???. I wouldn’t recommend. Had to season my food for it to be eatable !

Rude, abrasive, intimidating old lady speaking to me in such a nasty way. Didn’t even start the Uber eats order until 25 mins after I arrive. I will never spend another $ in here. I’m also going to post a review on my blog because money doesn’t grow on trees and it’s “Us” Harlem natives keeping small black business like this open. With so many other Caribbean restaurants in the area it’s not even worth the headache. There food is decent but it’s not 5/5 more like 3/5 but the service is 0/5.

The yam need more sweet flavor to it. And the oxtail were burn. How you charge somebody $ 25.98. So tell me how am I suppose to enjoy my food when some of the oxtails were burn. That's bad for business. And if they were on chopped. They would have been chopped for serving burned food on the plate to any customers. I will never eat there again. This was my first time eating here. And for the first time they served me burned oxtails.

I've been eating Jamaican Oxtail's for twenty years in this city and these are the best of the best and I don't say this lightly!

Horrible Horrible! They messed up my order and wouldn’t refund or apologize. Food was nasty and salty. I told them to put j*** sauce on the side they put it on the rice. I paid for macaroni and was given plantains. Beware of ordering go in person and taste the food first!!!

Honestly the first time in years I felt I was ripped off. I asked for beef stew six dollars for a small, they were out. I asked for a recommendation and she gave me Oxtail which she said only came in med and large, I got the medium. It came on rice with a side of yams. There was enough meat to fill maybe two tablespoons, the rest was fat. It had no taste whatsoever, everything on the plate had no flavor. To top it all off they charged me 17 dollars lol, I had to do a double take. After a few bites I tossed it all in the garbage, I'll make it up to myself tonight with some good Chinese food.
