Pierogies are solid *french kiss*, tried special one with cheese and potato filling and dip in the special sauce on the side. I prefer the fried one! We also got the meat platter which include sausage, pierogies and staff cabbage and mushroom sauce on top . It’s quite heavy but flavorful! Potato pancakes could be crispier. Would be back to try more!

Great food, dumplings just like grandma makes, and the atmosphere is 4 stars because when it's cold, when you're sitting next to the door, it's a bit cold, but yes, it's great, the service is very nice, they speak Polish or

I have gone 2 times only for breakfast . Usually early in the morning , basically empty ..service is really hit or miss.. waitresses spend their time speaking to each other in Polish loudly ..don't feel welcomed ..more like a customer is a nuisance .. very basic ..

Overall enjoyed the kielbasa sausage meal I had here. The sides I wanted were not available, so I decided on the onion rings my friend got these crêpes filled with cream and strawberries, which were delicious. They have a very unique menu and the food seems to be fairly authentic. I went on a late Friday night, and it was very loud in there as these kids behind me were making TikTok’s at the payphone. Overall I recommend this place and enjoy the food there.

Unfussy diner with a casual ambiance and a very authentic Polish feel. Really enjoyed their pierogis, they were fried nice and crispy, and absolutely stuffed to the seams. While their matzo ball soup was quite tasty, it was served pretty lukewarm, almost room temperature. The prices are a little on the high side for that it is (e.g., around $10 for 4 pierogis).

Authentic food, good portions, fair prices, atmosphere like a diner, conveniently located just across from Angelika East, always get the potato pancakes!

Great food. This place hasn't changed in 30 years. If you're visiting NYC be prepared for a different idea of wait service. I will absolutely go every time I am in the city. We spent more than usual because we had the spendier "combo plates" but you can definitely go cheaper and still have a humongous meal.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but they aren't labeled as such.

Absolutely delicious authentic food. The gołąbki (stuffed cabbage) came with a mushroom sauce. I ordered with cucumber salad and sauerkraut. And the kompot (fruit juice) was refreshing and came with a spoon to eat the fruits too. Love, love, love! Cannot wait to come back again! Enjoy a piwo a here and good food!

Went for dinner last night for the first time. I did not even know I like sauerkraut. Their sauerkraut is spectacular. Bigos as well. Everything was good but this sauerkraut situation, wow. As soon as I finish the leftovers we brought home, I want to go back.
