Tried Zhongzhong Noodles and was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, with rich broth and great texture. Portions were generous, prices felt fair, and the food came out quickly. It’s a casual, convenient spot that brings comforting Chinese noodle flavors to Roosevelt Island. Friendly service and a great option when you want something warm, filling, and tasty without leaving the island. Definitely worth a visit.

Super friendly staff and even better food!
The manager goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I’m obsessed with the Braised Beef Noodles, the meat is so tender and juicy. The Tomato Beef Noodle soup is also a standout (so rich!). Plus, you can customize your order with extra toppings or swap noodles for rice noodles. This place is definitely a new favorite!

No frills ramen shop — excellent food, nothing beats hot noodle soup in winter. They only have seats for 8 people, but the service is quite fast.

The food is really good, very authentic, and the szechuan dumplings when they offer them are fantastic. All the noodle dishes are great. Food is prepared slowly, be prepared to wait. Why it's so slow I don't quite understand, but it's been consistent since they opened.

Had the braised beef noodles, and the seasoning burned my lips for 2 days (not much flavor, just spice) The beef looked nothing like the photo, had this gelatinous stuff around it?? (probably a huge amount of connective tissue or fat) and had a funky smell. Never seen meat like that before.

I’ve ordered from here seven times. Sad to say they only exist because they are the only game on the island. Noodles and dumplings taste heated from frozen or ramen packet. Broth has flavor but overdoes the spicy oil so you can’t taste anything. They will not make it less spicy if you ask. If you like good places like White Bear, Noodlecraft, Bund, Yumpling, and Shu Jiao Fu Zhao then you will not like this place. China One may actually be better. Ugh :/

Food was ok. Employee seemed to be trying to pretend to be closed when we walked in (nowhere near closing time), and then was dismissive of us choosing to eat there. Overall not a great vibe.
Won't assume it was due to our *ahem* appearance, but I did notice that the group that came in while we were eating got better service 🤷♂️
