An accidental find on Roosevelt island. It is a small establishment with about 8 seats alongside one another looking out to the road.It’s a husband and wife team.We tried the 小笼包 and the麻辣牛肉面。 Both were superb!
Previously it was good. This time the beef rice bowl is not good. The sauce become sticky, the rice as well.. it taste awful this time, not sure what happened.

Wow! What a great lunch. I was surprised at how good the food here was. I ordered the Pork Soup Dumplings and the Pickled Chili and Sliced Beef Noodles. Both were terrific! I am a bit of a soup dumpling snob and I can safey say that these were terrific! Easily makes the list of my top 5 soup dumplings. The pickled chili noodle bowl was well seasoned, just the right amount of spiciness and was loaded with tons of flavor.The people working there were extremely friendly and polite.I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back!

The noodles were very tasty and very filling, especially for the price in New York City! It is on Roosevelt Island and it's delicious and worth the cable car ride! Spicy Chinese noodles in a quick service of lunch perfect spot!

We had jiajiang noodle with miced pork. Tastes like dandan ramen , yummy but too much oil. Can’t even finish the whole bowl. If they can reduce oil a lit bit, i would be more than perfect.
One of the most delicious braised pork rice and spicy beef noodles I have. Everything is served fresh and steaming hot. It's a bit oily, flavorful, and overall just so satisfying

There's not a ton of options on the island but Zhongzhong is one of the best. Their food taste great, their dumplings are among my favorite in the city. The service can be pretty slow though. When you get overwhelmed with orders, they can be a little disorganized. It seems most people take out but there are a few seats facing the window if you wish you dine in.

The food was hot and ready to eat when delivered to my door. I would to go to the restaurant next time to check out the ambience.I ordered the Za Jiang Noodles, spicy wonton in red chili oil (I ordered it extra spicy, which was enough heat but still enjoyable!), and the pork soup dumplings. All were delicious and I would recommend to anyone who’s craving!

We went for a walk on Roosevelt island on Sunday and accidentally discovered this highly rated restaurant. When ordering, the boss said that the machine was broken and the noodle soup was not available, so we had to order some dumplings. Fortunately, the machine was repaired before leaving, and we were able to take home a bowl of their signature beef noodles.Very tasty! The beef noodle soup is very rich and the beef is very tender. The dumplings are also super delicious! It's a restaurant worth traveling so far to eat at.

Delicious, generously portioned noodles. Spicy ones are nice and spicy. Chicken one was tame and noodley enough for my toddler, who loved the bok choy enough to ask for seconds (which we were able to order as an additional order and came generously as well). Friendly service. Small lunch counter for dining in, close to the action. Highly recommend.
