I bought the carrot cake and double chocolate cake as thats all i saw there. I love both cakes, its very dense and moist, i think this is the first time ive had a cake this dense in america! The carrot cake isnt the most flavorful but nonetheless taste great, the double chocolate is really good also. Both cakes taste like theyre made naturally without additives, preservatives or artificial flavors. The cakes tasted normal but rich and dense. I will try the other flavors as i see comments about them. If youre looking for a real cake, a cake that is dense, not too sweet and natural, this is your place.

Me and my mother stopped by here and bought 2 carrot cakes. One was with nuts & raisins and the other was plain. Both lacked flavor tremendously. The icing is overly sweet and the cake literally has zero flavor. It’s very unfortunate because someone told us about this place but never again.

I am lucky that I live only a few blocks from Lloyd’s on Lexington. Their cakes and cupcakes are very moist and delicious, and I especially like the variety, not just plain carrot cake, but chocolate, vanilla, etc. and most days, you can smell the delicious aroma of bakery as you walk past. The place is a takeout so you come in, buy your cakes and cupcakes and then go home and enjoy.
Simply the best. A neighborhood staple. I Ordered my partners birthday cake from here, They didn’t have a box big enough for the cake- so they made one on the spot. The kind of customer service that deserves 5 stars ! 🌟 all while dealing with a full store of hungry customers. Thank you, Lloyds ! 🥕
