Waited 30 mins to seated for an 8:45 reservation. The food took longer than expected (so long the wait staff came to apologize several times). The food was subpar- but we were so hungry we didn't complain. the gnocchi tasted like potato purée and the chicken was just ok. The maitre'd did offer to take the first course off the bill since it took so long...however, the gnocchi was still pretty bad. Not the Locanda Verde it used to be. AT. ALL.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots. Was a little disappointed the last visit. We had a late brunch reservation and the food felt rushed. When I asked for some toast they told me the kitchen was closed, but we could order dessert. No one told us that would be the case when we arrived or when we were ordering. We were in and out of in an hour Disappointing.

Terrible service at the bar. Waited 15 minutes to order a drink, when I did order my food came before my drink. The female bartender was honestly rude when I asked about my cocktail even though I had my main in front of me. No thank you when I paid the bill. Was disappointed all around. The pumpkin ravioli was good.

Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating for kids with plain pasta. We did get sat in a section that seemed reserved for diners with kids but with a toddler that was more than fine.
Service was very attentive. Seasonal pumpkin ravioli was unique and delicious. Peekytoe crab and burrito appetizers were very delicious. As were the Branzino and the choices of cocktails which were well crafted.
Best Italian in the city. Every season the menu has a slight change and it’s beyond exceptional. My favorite is the varying ravioli based on seasonal vegetables. The lamb meatballs are pure heaven, and the swordfish is a stable. Don’t forget the sheep's milk ricotta to start… cannot wait to go back!

Locanda Verde in New York offers an exceptional dining experience. During my visit, the food was top-notch, paired with impeccable service that perfectly complemented the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere. The bloody Mary was a masterpiece—balanced, flavorful, and with just the right kick of spice. However, the true star of the show was the lemon ricotta pancake, which was absolutely spectacular, with a soft, fluffy texture and a refreshing taste that made it unforgettable. This is definitely a place I will be returning to.

Unfortunately my food & another in my party arrived cold. Our waitress was too busy to take wait on us & it was really loud. So loud in fact my Apple Watch kept sending me “Loud Surroundings “ alerts the entire time we were there. And one line of coffee was offered which was much too bitter for my taste.
