Categorize this as a “tourist trap.” The asparagus was served cold, limp, and doused in cheap butter. The chicken was dry to the point of being inedible. The lasagna was burnt to a crisp and the sauce tasted like marinara from a grocery store jar. There is fantastic Italian food in NYC, but it is not here.

Has gone severely downhill in the past year. Surprised to discover that my one of my favorite restaurants in midtown now has the ambience of an old navy outlet.
The food has slipped even further. Chicken - bad! The whole experience reminded me of how when uncle got divorced, he invited my family over for dinner. He tried to cook us an elaborate meal, the courses named in foreign languages on small plates. Needless to say the food was horrible, made unnaturally elaborate by a man trying to hide his financial devastation from his sister.

+1 for the service being good. Martini was okay!

Convenient location by Rockefeller, not busy (Sunday brunch) so seated immediately, attentive & quick service, food was tasty & good quality.
As per some of the other comments the bread (offered to my Husband with his modest portion of frittata) seemed an after thought, is it free/included in the price, we didn't know at the time.
Worth a visit if you want something a bit more special.
Prices comparable with similar higher end dining experiences in the area.

Love the location in Rockefeller Center near the Today Show windows. We had dinner and were seated inside the main restaurant (it is very small inside). The restaurant is beautiful, with lots of windows so we could enjoy the view.
The server was friendly and answered all of our questions. We arrived during Happy Hour so we ordered the appetizer: Chips, Nuts, and Olives. Basically store bought potato chips, peanuts that were roasted and crunchy, and a selection of different olives.
Then we order the bread (it did not come with the meal) but well worth it. Sesame bread and focaccia served with olive oil. Very fresh and served warm from the oven. Our main meals were just okay. The gnocchi was served with leeks, broccoli, pine nuts and truffle oil. Very good and very rich in flavor. I would have preferred a little more leeks and broccoli, they were basically lacking. The Lasagna Bolognese was very meaty, almost the main ingredient, but seasoned well. And the Spaghetti Pomodoro was just that, pasta with tomato, parm, basil and seasoned well. Over all we were satisfied but not overwhelmed.
