Unfortunately, our visit was very underwhelming. The host was quite rude and dismissive. After being seated outside in a cold, windy area, we politely asked to move to a more sheltered table (which we could see were available). Our request was ignored multiple times. When we eventually asked to speak with a manager, the response was equally unhelpful and indifferent.
The food did not live up to the price point — both in terms of quality and presentation. On top of that, the interior was extremely loud and chaotic, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
Overall, the service and experience simply did not match the restaurant’s reputation or pricing. Disappointing on several levels.

We’re visiting from Toronto on a girls’ trip and stumbled upon Lola Taverna—what a find! The atmosphere is vibrant, chic, and perfectly New York, but what truly made our night unforgettable was our waiter, Alejandro.
From the moment we sat down, Alejandro was a total star. His warm, friendly demeanor made us feel welcome right away, and his service was flawless throughout the evening. He gave us amazing recommendations (all spot-on!) and made sure we were taken care of with such genuine care and professionalism.
It’s rare to find someone who’s both efficient and incredibly personable, but Alejandro nailed it. He truly elevated our experience and made our night so special. We’ll be raving about this place—and him—long after we’re back in Toronto!
Highly recommend Lola Taverna—ask for Alejandro if you can!

I was greeted as soon as I arrived. The Maitre D was so patient and accommodating with me as I was indecisive as to where I wanted to sit. The bartender made the best house cocktails I have ever had. Simple but perfect. Could taste every detail. The service was amazing and my server Alejandro was even more amazing. The manager was touching tables asking how everything was and if we were enjoying everything. She made me feel special and was refreshing to have conversation with a manager who is always on the floor. Great food great service- beautiful Maitre D. Will be back!

had an extremely disappointing experience at this bar. Despite leaving a generous tip at the beginning of the night to cover myself and five guests, I was approached by the manager not once, but twice, and told I needed to leave due to “not tipping enough.” She even pulled up the transaction list, clearly unaware of the tip I had already provided.
I was embarrassed in front of my group and made to feel completely unwelcome for no valid reason. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially after supporting the establishment generously. I’ll be pursuing this further and strongly encourage others to think twice before giving this place their business

Beautiful restaurant in a great location. Food was exceptional - especially the chicken, whipped feta and pita bread. Our waitress, Michelle, was attentive and kind. Highly recommend and would love to make another trip back!

The food was disappointing. 3 of us ordered grilled octopus and we all noticed it smelled weird… Very tiny portion. Usually grilled octopus is amazing anywhere I go but here they managed to fail it..: Greek salad was weird. We loved starter spreads, especially roasted pepper one. And fries were a highlight of $400 check… Never seen a check. The waiter came to each one of us and showed screen of his device and we paid with a card. No check with a breakdown was served. Weird. We were not happy with the dinner unfortunately.
