This restaurant is a tourist trap. Overpriced, no flavor and definitely not worth the visit. Save your money and go to Bleeker street Pizza. More variety and tastes much better.

This pizza really sucked. It was frozen and didn't taste like pizza at all, the pineapple pizza really infuriated me. The place itself sucked, all crumbly and the bathrooms were all pissed. There's also the crumbs of customers' noses. A real suck, I would NEVER recommend visiting this pizzeria, you will regret it bitterly. Signed: Upset Thomas.

You can taste the history in every bite! The clam pizza is a unique and delicious classic. The coal-oven gives the crust an unforgettable flavor and texture.

Cash only, but there's an ATM inside. Staff is very friendly.

Lombardi’s Pizza in Nolita delivers that classic New York slice experience with a cozy, old-school charm. The coal-fired crust has a perfect char, the sauce is tangy and balanced, and the mozzarella ties everything together beautifully. Fun fact: Lombardi’s is widely recognized as America’s first licensed pizzeria, opening its doors in 1905.

I recently stopped by Lombardi’s Pizza in Little Italy, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a legendary spot. The pizzas come out with that classic coal-oven flavor—bold, smoky, and instantly satisfying. While I personally prefer the thinner crust at Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn, Lombardi’s still delivers a really enjoyable experience in its own style.

Their offerings are genuinely impressive, and Buddy’s Choice (yes, the Cake Boss himself) stood out the most. It’s rich, flavorful, and feels like a signature slice made with confidence.

Overall, Lombardi’s has its own charm. If you’re in Little Italy and want a classic NYC pizza moment, it’s absolutely worth the stop—even if, like me, you lean toward that paper-thin Brooklyn crust.

New York is known for its pizza; this is not that kind of pizza. Service was attentive and appreciated. An old world charm and tightness.

Cesar salad was mostly romaine lettuce. Dressing lacked flavor. Overly large and expensive.

Pizza was underwhelming. The red sauce was bland. Not a fan of the well done charred cook. Expensive for the size.

No refills on soda.

One check per table. Cash only is annoying in this increasingly cash free society. They probably make $3-4 a transaction on the on site ATM.

This place screams tourist trap. 👎🏼

Work trip to New York and had to go to the oldest Pizza joint in the Big Apple. Margarita pizza was superb. Great vibe, very goos service, but be prepared as it is cash only. This is a must do visit if NY style pizza is your thing! It was excellent.

Lombardi’s on Spring and Mott — the coal-oven original that’s been here since 1905. It’s said to be the first pizzeria in America, and whether that’s myth or fact doesn’t really matter. What matters is the crust — smoky, blistered, perfect — and the tomato sauce that doesn’t try too hard. The room feels like old New York: simple, warm, a little worn in the best way. And don’t skip the salad with mushrooms — fresh, earthy, and unexpectedly good. Order a classic pie and you’ll understand why it’s lasted more than a century

Good place to grab a pizza. They sell by the whole pizza and not by the slice. One of the oldest pizza places in Manhattan and has an authentic Italian vibe. They DON'T TAKE CARDS. Cash only, but there's an ATM on site.
