We absolutely loved the food at Loopy's. We came across this place as we were looking to have an early dinner near the PIT before we stopped in for an improv show. You order and pay at a screen but the food is brought out to your table. We ordered spicy ramen with beef bolgolgi, fried dumplings, popcorn chicken with yum yum sauce and a California roll (minus avocado which we communicated directly to the person behind the counter). The dumplings and chicken were my favorites and I noted that they were maybe some of the best I've had and it was affordable especially considering the quality and portion size. We are visiting NYC as a family and had just finished touring the Empire State Building. We looked for a unique restaurant to eat at and stumbled upon Loopy’s Eatery.
We were greeted with such kindness from the owners. As we looked over the menu, he graciously helped us pick our meal. And then when it came out he even showed us the way to mix it up so there is a piece of every ingredient in each bite!
Talk about flavor - wow! Everything was outstanding! My husband and I both had the stone pot bibimbap. Comes out hot and stays hot the whole time you are eating. My son got the sushi burrito and basically inhaled it due to the deliciousness. My daughter had a bento box - which was perfect for her and rates everything an 11 out of 10.
If you are in the area or even if you are father away, this is worth the drive!
