It’s as good as everyone says it isWe ordered half the menu & nothing was less than fantastic. Cocktails were all good, boozy, and well crafted. We loved the scotch egg, and honestly the fries were something to write home about. Duck pie & the burger were the stars of the meal.

Amazing curried scotch egg. English food served with a perfect upscale touch. And even some Cotswolds English whisky! Shout out to our great bartender Julia too.

? Worth a stop to get some yummy English foodHad a 5:30 reservation and got there a little early, doors opens exactly at 5:30 and we were seated quickly upon check-in.The restaurant itself is really well maintained and it’s a great place to have a conversation. The two of us ordered the burger (we got it YALL!!), the duck pie, and the proper English chips. Everything was really good and as you can imagine a little heavy. The burger is decadent so I really think it tastes better if you split it ☺️ I’m usually not a fan of thicker (steak) fries so I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it that much but the chips were CRISPY and they were my favorite of the night.Enjoyed my dinner here and I look forward to coming back and trying more!

This was a very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere but I would definitely recommend it for a date night. We wanted to get the burger which is very hyped but we couldn’t because they only make 12 of those per night. The rest of the food was decent but not anything amazing. We ordered a bunch of plates and got to share the dishes which is what I would recommend.

Lovely spot. The burger is delicious - cheesy, salty, buttery. It’s a hedonistic dream. It’s difficult to get but worth it. We also loved the duck pie, and I really enjoyed the tuxedo martini. The chips were also insanely good. I was less impressed with the scotch egg, which had a great flavor but was too dry and crispy, and not really meaty enough - the egg was slightly overdone.

One of my favorite meals in 2024 thus far. I went on a double date to Lord's last month, and I was blown away by the whole experience. I got us a 5:30 res, and we pretty much immediately asked about the famous Welsh Rarebit Burger, to which our server promptly reserved two for our party. We got a good variety of eats, and every bite was pretty fab! Curried Lamb Scotch Egg - Iconic, and for good reason. Outer curried lamb sausage was perfectly salty and spiced, the egg was delectably jammy, and it was fried to a good crisp! Great to share amongst a pair; we got 2 for the 4 of us. Radicchio Salad - Not lifechanging, but a good balanced pick and much needed for our greasy, meaty meal. Mushrooms with Marmite Mimolette Sauce - Meaty little mushrooms with an umami bomb sauce that tasted like bougie velveeta. What's not to love?! Welsh Rarebit Burger - This was worth lining up at 5:27 and ordering right away. Definitely in my top 3 burgers in NYC; the pretzel bun was perfectly soft and chewy, the patty was nice and thick and cooked to a medium-ish perfection, and the housemade rarebit cheese sauce and bite of the white onion slab made this a 10/10 burger. Proper English Chips - Great; they taste just like Dame's. Crunchy unlike traditional English chip shop chips, but really fab for this American audience. Best paired with tons of malt vin! Duck Pie - Rich, flaky, hearty, yum. We shared 1 amongst the 4 of us, and I suggest you do the same. Chocolate Guinness Cake - Not too sweet, loved the savoury/sour pairing with the crème fraîche. Apple Crumble - My least favourite bite of the night. Delectable, just the least memorable of the bunch. (That being said, there was an even split down the table between preferring the cake or the crumble.) Definitely a treat meal, but worth the $$$ and meat sweats. All four of us had been to Dame prior and loved it, so I'm not surprised that this meal was great, but I am amazed by how good it truly was!

One of the best meals I’ve had recently. Service was professional and they spaced out the food for us where each dish got its own spotlight. Every dish we ordered was excellent except for the Caesar Salad which was “only” very good. It was very anchovy in the first bite but after a few bites, my palate adjusted. The quail toast & pork chop were amazing. I wish I could drink the wine sauce that came with both. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a great meal in NYC

It's interesting because we had the most amazing dinner at Dame and Lord's is also good, but not as magical as Dame.Excellent bread and butter. The scallops were nice. The Welsh rarebit looked very intriguing but tasted like less than the sum of its ingredients. Dishes we really liked were oysters kilpatrick, the escarole salad with Bottarga, the duck pie, the radicchio salad, and the trumpet mushrooms. The cod was outstanding as was the pork pudding with black sausage. Oh, and the CHIPS!!! ?The banoffee choux and the lemon tart were big hits but the Guinness cake fell flat.
