Delicious food and great service. Also loved the vibe. If you're a veggie lover, try the beets and broccoli salad!
My partner and I stumbled on Loring Place years ago by chance and ever since we make it a point to return when we're in New York; especially on our anniversary. Over the the five years we've been coming the staff has been reliably kind and helpful, and the food fresh and inventive. The restaurant itself is a bit loud, but that's because every table is full. My partner and I both have food sensitivities which some restaurants struggle to accommodate, but we're never worried when we dine at Loring Place. Dining there is always a highlight of our trips and we look forward to joining them for dinner for many years to come.
I want to give Loring Place a good review. I’ve been going there for years and it’s been consistent. I went for lunch yesterday however and it was really disappointing. The snap pea salad was so overdressed I couldn’t finish it, and my usual favorite appetizer the baked ricotta was oily and just tasted like scallions- even the toast seemed like it had been reheated (it was so hard I could barely bite through the crust). My friend got the French toast which was a single piece of toast (for the price, kind of ridiculously small) and he didn’t eat the crust either since it wasn’t softened by the egg soak. I know brunch isn’t a restaurant’s favorite meal, but it’s also such an easy way to make people happy with simple execution. Loring place, please return to form so I can keep recommending you!!
The best drinks and food! We had a big family brunch here and everything was amazing. The lemon pancakes and roasted broccoli were my favorite.
Incredible seasonal menu, super attentive service, very vibey atmosphere. It’s a great date spot or a place to have dinner with the girls. Also had the best Riesling I’ve ever tasted here
Wood charred broccoli was by far one of the best plates I had in New York City during my recent trip. On top of the fact that the beverage manager, Hendrick, was amazing and ultra accommodating, it was overall a GREAT experience. They even played Tribe Called Quest at the end. Enough said.
Daniel Kluger is a wonderful chef. Loring Place has kept up its consistency over the years. Nice atmosphere and not over-priced, unlike so many restaurants of comparable quality. Highly recommend.
Food was good, very on point for brunch. Vibes were good on par with nice WV establishments.
Lo was the best waitress we loved her personality and wonderfully fast and punctual service.
We dined at Loring Place, and I must say, our experience exceeded all expectations. Initially, we anticipated a standard meal, but what we received was a delightful surprise that left us wanting more.
The first thing that struck us was the generous portion sizes. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, ensuring that no one at our table left feeling hungry. The menu offered a variety of options, and we were thrilled to find that every dish we tried was absolutely delicious.
We tried the beets salad, hummus, ( was very good), quash French fries (this is a bomb!), cauliflower ( was ok) , and 2 pizzas Date and Grandma was absolutely delicious.
What impressed us even more was the reasonable pricing. Given the quality of the food and the portion sizes, we felt we received great value for our money. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines affordability with such high culinary standards.
Overall, Loring Place is a hidden gem that we are excited to return to. If you’re looking for a delightful dining experience with generous portions and fantastic flavors, this is the place to be!

We showed up for a spontaneous date night and Loring Place was hopping but the hostess was so welcoming and found us a table and then Andrew gave us a brilliant wine suggestion. Each person more welcoming than the next. Daniel made the dinner even more warm. The pizza is still perfect as was the Brussel sprout salad. Loring Place is the perfect fall spot!! Many thanks!! As a parent with few nights away from kids, Loring Place makes it special and worth it!

We have nothing but amazing feedback on our private room booking! The food was great, and everything was organized and timely. This was a special family reunion, and we really appreciated the warm, friendly atmosphere. Big thanks to Taylor, our server, for being so patient with the kids and language barrier, and to Eliza for coordinating everything seamlessly. Highly recommend for any group gathering or just a great meal!
