An Unforgettable Taco Experience at Los Tacos No. 1!
I had an incredible experience at Los Tacos No. 1 during my trip to New York. The food was absolutely amazing—easily some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. But what truly set this place apart was the staff. Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they were genuinely happy to be there.
In a city that can sometimes feel rushed and impersonal, the energy at Los Tacos No. 1 was a breath of fresh air. It was clear that the staff took pride in what they were doing, and that kind of positivity is contagious. My hats off to the entire team and especially the manager for maintaining such a high standard—not just in the food, but in the overall experience.
If you’re in NYC and looking for delicious tacos served with a side of great vibes, do yourself a favor and stop by. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

Amazing food! You have to eat here! The lines can be pretty big, but the service is so fast that the queues disappear quickly. Watching the guys at work when preparing the tacos is great - their skill and speed is very impressive. The food was divine, although be prepared for the fact that you will end up going round for a second order as the tacos are just too irresistible! I would probably say it is more a place to grab some lunch, rather than for your main meal of the day, unless you’re prepared to order four tacos each. Great for coeliac requirements too, as the corn tortillas are gluten-free.

I just stopped by to grab some food and didn’t expect much, but I’m hooked! The food is amazing. I ordered 2 Tacos- grilled chicken and grilled steak. The steak is absolutely delicious. Probably the best grilled steak taco I’ve ever had in NYC. The chicken was not bad too. I also tried Horchata for the first time and I kinda like it. It had some cooling effects when I drink it, the taste was similar to cold soy milk to me but smoother and lighter. I can’t wait to come back again!
