The adobada pork tacos were amazing - enough for me to bother to write a review. Nice people and clean, fun setting. Easy in, easy out and this is a new favorite place for me.

I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one. This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.
The toppings and salsa were the best I’ve ever had. The tacos were ready in less than 1 min after I ordered. They are obsessed with being the best and it stands out

The reviews did not lie — the carne asada taco was delicious! I don’t like the concept of a restaurant with only a few menu items and standing room only, but if you need something tasty but not overly expensive and are in a pinch this is a good option. Pros: the food! So good! $5 tacos that are worth the cost Cons: There’s no where to sit and we have to stand to eat; it’s busy and we had to wait to order and then wait again to get our tacos made.

The tacos are very traditional, with delicious meats, and I loved the detail that the tortillas are handmade. The asada taco, especially, is excellent. The service is fast and efficient. Although you have to wait in a long line, everything went very smoothly, and it is definitely worth the wait to try these tacos.

Yes it does look like a real taqueria from Mexico City. However, the tortillas were uncooked, too chunky, the meat was dry, prices were absurd, and the attitude was aggressive. A real letdown.

The best place in NYC to eat tacos, good and fast service, good cuisine, variety of sauces. I am not used to eating Mexican food abroad, since the idea is to eat the local food, this is better than many taquerias in Mexico
