super friendly guys, we were on a tour of New York and stayed at the Holiday Inn around the corner. Everything is totally fresh and super tasty, even in the evening. We ate our burritos in the room. If the weather is right, you can also go right on the water with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Co.
New to the area, we ordered lunch at the recommendation of a museum employee. There is fabulous food all around the Seaport. Unfortunately, we wasted our time and money at this charmless counter-service cafe with mediocre Mexican food.
Got two burritos, one carne asada and one fish. The meat one was really good, the fish one was good, but not great, though still a solid meat alternative. The place is a no frills place to get tacos. While it's not a hopping place, location is great and has plenty of seating room. It certainly beats the taco trucks where you have to eat your $10 taco standing up in the middle of the sidewalk!
