I brought a group of friends to this cozy spot, and we snagged a corner of the patio. It was the ideal place for us to catch up without breaking the bank! Just a heads up, it’s cash only, so make sure to bring some cash along. The laid-back vibe was exactly what we were looking for!

I had a great experience thanks to the bartender, Jeannie, who provided truly exceptional service. However, it was deeply upsetting to witness the owner berating this same bartender in front of guests in a way that was hostile and inappropriate. I want to support the hardworking staff here, but this kind of toxic behavior from ownership makes it hard to feel good about coming back. I hope the team is treated with the respect they deserve - they’re the heart of this place.

I've read thru these reviews and I'm shocked at some of them...but hey it's NY. This bar is the best in the East Village. The bartender (I don't remember her name) she was such a calm and chill women. We have only stopped by a couple of times when we're in the neighborhood and each time she is there and remembers us, the conversation picks up pretty much where it left off the last time we were there. As I'm typing this my wife and I are planning our next visit to NY and guess whats on our list of places to stop.... You guessed it, your bar. Boss Lady keep it up you have a great bar, see you soon

Fantastic little pub! Great service from bar man (wish I got his name but he had longish salt and peppered hair).
We brought our drinks back to the bar but he didn’t see so he followed us down the street to make sure we didn’t get fined for open carrying our beers (we are foreign tourists). 10/10 would come back again 🤘

I love this bar and so does my dog. We have been coming here since the late summer of 2024 and have only had great times. The bartender on Friday nights is really cool and friendly. Be careful which day you go tho as sometimes NYU bros show up and act obnoxious but that isn't the bar's fault.
