Lucky what can I say sorry guys should have written this way sooner if I could give it a ten i would. Followed the bar on instagram from March this year and visited in September spent at least 6 afternoons/ nights in the bar over the 2weeks I was over. Loved the bar and staff and was never on my own. Miss the bar and will be back soon.
One of the last decent bars in the neighborhood. When I was in the area recently I was disappointed to hear that a staple, B Side had recently closed down. But, the atmosphere at Lucky is nice, happy hour prices were just as good, and the bartenders were definitely less rude. Granted, to have a better attitude than a B-side employee is an extremely low bar but it's definitely something. Would come back here again next time I'm in the area.
One of the few classic nyc dive bars left. Been here on a few nights. Saturday nights can get pretty packed, it's usually the same green haired bartender working. Just her. Yet she makes sure every one has a drink, with very little time waiting. She has the perfect demeanor needed to deal with rude customers that stroll on through thinking they're going to come hang out in the EV like it's second season of the Jersey Shore.
