A favorite of my grandson's and so we met friends there for a casual lunch . Very casual and good atmosphere for conversation... waiter was very nice, there was no rush at all and I liked the quaint worn ambiance that made everyone feel comfortable . Lunch varied at our table ... a delicious croque. madame , a sensible bolognese ragú over , a delicious steak sandwich with fries and a fish sandwich with fries ... everyone was happy ... would return any day !

Well I was really dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. I ordered a burger and the bread was an an English muffin. Is that a French thing for burgers? I know for eggs Norwegian it is. Just food wasn't up to par. My steak taste steamed grilled. That butter on the top made it no better. My server was so so. Oh and the fries.. where very hard.

A neighborhood classic! The steak and french fries are to die for. this is a really nice spot in Soho where most things are over commercialized and not local. I can recommend almost everything that I've eaten here and I think that the staff and the atmosphere are really a contribution to the neighborhood.

It was listed as 1 of the top 10 decorated restaurants in NY city. I don’t consider 3 strings of green and red garland to be great decorations. There was one waiter who was trying so hard to get everyone’s order taken and out at one time.

This place has good bread and that's about it. 3 of us sent our food back for different reasons, one of us almost broke a tooth from rocks in the lentils. My avocado toast had not even a quarter avocado for 20 bucks. Total rip for brunch. Don't do it
