Bad tasting lobster. I've had Luke's Lobster in Japan, it tastes better and is cheaper. Terrible service. Too expensive

20 dollars for what is probably the smallest amount of food you can imagine. Although the food is good, at these prices you mind as well order the crab/lobster at a real restaurant or even a Red Lobster. These businesses price gouge because they can. And they keep all the dirty cleaning supplies right by the food preparation area.

Tried the lobster roll, the medium version costing $40. Unfortunately, the lobster meat, although plentiful, is served cold, very cold. This takes away all the goodness from the bread and the sauce, which is however very light. Furthermore, we don't understand the point of serving the bread warm (buttery, good) and the lobster meat freezing from the fridge. Truly a disappointment. Nothing to say about staff and service, tolerance for drinks brought from outside (but maybe that's the NY standard).

I needed something quick to eat for my train ride , I went with Luke’s lobster. Staff/service no complaints there , all staff was polite and kind. I ordered the crab roll , with white truffle butter. The crab meat was an extremely cold , the bread was cold as well. I really wish it was warmer or I had time to go back and get a more fresh one . All good the amount of crab meat was generous. It was decent cold so I’m sure it’s so so much better warm . Next time I’ll try again.

The Lobster Bisque is horrible. Is Beyond WATERY with some SLIVERS of lobster. So disappointed 😞 the Crab roll could have used more butter. They also said they season it. WHen? Where? How? If you are used to FLAVORTOWN this is not the place for you. Boring , BLAND food. that just happened to be Seafood. A waste of my $37.00. And to think you are taking up valuable space in Grand Central. SMMFH
The free drink and chips. The only thing up to my standards was the chips. Lemonade was so sour don't know if they know or recognize how Lemonade its supposed to taste. Just a bad experience will not ever soend my money or recommend a Luke's Lobster to anyone. I'm a known foodie. This is giving NOT GOOD.

Places like this should get the tips after they serve. The waitress asked us to clean our own table at the end. Food was also tasteless. Terrible service.

Great tasting lobster sandwich. Maybe just too cold, but still, I totally recommend trying it, especially at this branch in this emblematic place. The cider in the photo is not that good, try another drink.

You tip ahead and the service is slow. After waiting for the lobster roll that wasn't anything special I had to wait for the glass. Never came. I had to go to the bar to get a glass almost halfway through the sandwich.

Worst service ever! Discriminating bar staff, order a gin and tonic and took 15 minutes for it to arrive. Ask the bar tender how long it will take, he stated I don’t know we are busy. Yes I agree it was a busy time but I had ordered from the bar already. Then I was told to move away from the bar area as I couldn’t stand in certain area, so where am I meant to wait for my drink and drink it, maybe wait at the subway terminal. Rude staff and do not care as they look out for their own people. I’m also a paying guest and traveling. I’m the end the gin and tonic was not even great.

Not a good experience. Came up at 8:50 and restaurant was still open so had a chance to eat a sit down. We then ordered food like normal thinking we could go sit at the dining area. Once food was made staff said they were closed and could not sit. No options around food area as well. They forgot chips, water, and the beer as well that I reminded them about. Staff was not friendly and sadly do not recommend. Food also was cold and tasteless on top of the bad experience. Plus tipped before we had this service. If staff would have informed us that we couldn't have sat for a meal this would have been different.

I paid $16 for a cheap Sauvignon blanc. I would rather go to the Oyster bar and pay less for a delicious Kim Crawford. Choose a better wine! Thanks.

One of the afternoon servers harassed and asked me to leave while I sat to answer a work call. She demanded that I purchase food and I informed her that I would order after the call. However, unbeknownst to me, she alerted the police. Then 2 minutes later, police asked me to leave as per her recommendation.

The chowder has too much sand (almost each spoon). The worst chowder I ever had.

Fantastic, delicious lobster roll. Whenever I come to New York, I know what I am having for dinner my first night. Highly recommended.
