The food was good but in the middle of me eating I saw a rat run by my feet i immediately threw my food out and demanded a refund then left the owner was acting like it wasn’t a big deal seem like they are used to stuff like this NEVER AGAIN!

This place has authentic dominican food. They're know to have "The best goat meat in New York." I couldn't agree more. If you're a goat fan, come eat here. This time I got the oxtails and it was delicious. My favorite thing here is the Gandules beans. They only make them on Thursdays and Saturdays so make sure get. The atmosphere is relaxed. Kind of like a whole in the wall place. It's for loyal customers who knows about this place. The food is a must try. Stop here the next time you're in Washington Heights.

I walked in to the establishment and asked what kind of meat did they have. I was told the meats they had so I ordered White Rice, Red beans and Oxtails. Which they are supposed to have . What I received was White Rice, Red beans and Goat meat. I ate the stuff just because I did not feel like going back outside because I was starving. Very disappointing to order my food and received the wrong thing. (My review is in English but I ordered in Spanish which I am fluent in).

The Chivo was totally sub par, I asked the owner did they have a new cook. She said NO, but what they served me was horrible. I told her I go there often, I know the difference!!! Boycott thus place till further notice !!!!!!!!!!!???????? .
