It our first time at the restaurant, but certainly won't be our last. From beginning to end we had a lovely time. The food was excellent - we got the fried calamari (which includes shrimps), a special tagliotini with truffle, and linguine with clams. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Luna Rossa is an absolute neighborhood gem -- plentiful menu, delicious food, attentive and thoughtful service, and wonderful ambience. But it is fantastic not only in comparison to other options on the Upper East Side; for our family, it has clearly emerged as our favorite restaurant in all of Manhattan. For many years now, it has consistently delivered an exceptional dining experience in all respects. I cannot compliment this restaurant highly enough. I hope it remains the (not overly crowded) go-to option in our neighborhood for many more years to come!

Pricey but everyone in this neighborhood is a zillionaire anyway and the dishes were all very tasty. The ricotta cheesecake was great

Local favorite. Bolognese as good as usual, even though made with just beef and not pork and veal. Chicken flavorful with peppers and onions. Beet salad had a subtle flair of cheese powdered thoughout.
