Whole fish with fresh chili pepper, chinese pork sausage clay pot rice, and stewed pork intestine & tofu are so good!!! But stir fried cabbage was too firm and overly salty.

📍The food at this place was seriously impressive — super authentic flavors and plenty of heat! 🌶️🌶️🌶️
✨My absolute favorite was the Fresh Chili Boiled Fish (鲜椒过水鱼) 🐟🔥
Almost every table had it! Spicy, numbing, and bursting with flavor — SO good!
🥘 The Spicy Sichuan Hotpot (毛血旺) was super generous in portion and packed with ingredients. Bold flavors, perfect with rice!
🍖 The Chestnut Braised Pork (板栗红烧肉) had a fermented tofu-style (腐乳) flavor and firmer texture — not the melt-in-your-mouth kind.
Personally, I prefer the classic caramelized version 🍯, but if you’re into that fermented tofu vibe, definitely give this a go!
🐔 The Chongqing Spicy Chicken (辣子鸡) was just okay — not bad, but nothing too memorable either.
If you’re into Sichuan or Hunan flavors, this spot is definitely worth a try!
Already planning my next visit to try more dishes I missed this time

Overall is too salty and I ask no coriander but the fired beef have and they say help me recook, that’s is thankful BUT, when the new beef come out it taste more old than first one and I still feel the coriander but I don’t saw it, so may the cheat take the first beef with coriander and wash out and fired it again?

LUNAR is such a cool spot! The food is creative and full of flavor — every dish feels fresh and thoughtfully made. The cocktails are top-notch, and the vibe is modern, classy, and relaxed all at once. The staff are super friendly and make the whole experience feel easy and fun. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends — definitely worth checking out

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was honestly below average – lacking flavor, freshness, and balance. I posted a truthful review expressing my opinion, and to my surprise, I later received inappropriate private messages that seemed to come from someone connected to the restaurant. This message went as far as to insult my family, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
It’s one thing to receive criticism, but responding to it with personal attacks crosses a serious line. I hope the restaurant team reflects on how to accept feedback and improve both their food and their attitude toward customers.

This place is authentic as it gets. Me and my gf ordered the fatty beef sour soup and chonqing spicy chicken for our entrees, we were blown away. The service was amazing too, servers were attentive and not rushing us. Price was pretty good for the area too. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for sichuan food.

Three of us arrived at 6p.m. We were told to leave at 7:50 but we didn’t finish our dinner yet. Unpleasant experience.

Restaurantji Recommends
Not too familiar with authentic Szechuan cuisine but the dishes are all super delicious. The dishes had blown my mind for how delicious they were. The dishes are quite spicy and numbing so be aware.
Service is also on point
Highly recommend this restaurant. Make a reservation before visiting as this place gets very busy

This place was absolutely delicious and worth the wait !
I highly recommend anyone who enjoy eating different culture food (speaking to tourist) to come try out here and try it.
We got the cucumber salad to start and it was amazing. Next we got the lamb stir fried and pott belly to share. Both we very delicious and more then enough food to fill us up, after a long day of exploring New York.

Came here a few times and tried quite a lot of dishes. I'd say all the dishes are slightly better than average, but mostly spicy without any other depth and taste. You are very likely to leave this place with a numbing sense in your mouth. I would give this place a 3.8 star for their food...
BUT.. they have the best Dandan Noodles!!! So for that alone I give this place a 5 star😆
