Roman style pasta is superior ? and this place does it excellently. The sweetbread pasta tasted delicious

Great midday meal. Quaint indoor or outside sitting. Full bar. Perfect for two or family out.

Came here because a friend said it was head and shoulders better than Carbone across the street, and we were not disappointed. From the cocktails to the foccacia bread all the way to the tartufo for dessert, everything was excellent.

I’ve always considered Lupa one of the best in NYC. I’ve been going here for almost 20 years. I was very unhappy with my entree -the duck, and what seemed to be a rather sluggish experience overall. It has somehow lost its charm. It’s overly crowded and just not as good as it could be. The value for service and quality did not measure up this time.

Absolutely love this place. Excellent food and service with none of the pretentious stuff from other places where you can’t get a table. Totally worth it.

I met Maria from Lupa... I have to visit your restaurant! Great vibe.

Classic storefront Italian restaurant with traditional and creative pasta and meat dishes.
Attentive waitstaff who weren't shy about suggestions. Very satisfying meal.

The atmosphere is nice and the pasta is delicious without any fuss! If you go with a group of people, I recommend sharing and eating other than pasta! They open the door when the weather is nice, so you can eat indoors as if you were eating outdoors!

Really poor food quality. Third choice raw ham. Too bad it also passes as an Italian restaurant.

Not many of Mario's places survived the great purge. But Lupa remains! Large portions! Great food! The wine list is... ehh. Also, they lost half their dining area so the seating is CRAMPED.

Lupa is such a beautiful place! Amazing food, with high quality ingredients and original Roman recipes! I didn’t expect to find this gem in the middle of Greenwich Village, All the staff is so friendly. I recommend Lupa 100%
