Never again we used to dine several times a year as out of town guests, not sure what happened but lackluster food and service. Moribund atmosphere

Came here for birthday because of all the review, hate to say I’m a bit disappointed. We had the carbonara, short rib ragu pasta, pork chop and tiramisu, meatball, and pear salad.Pear salad: way too much acidity making salad too sour. I think remove a bit of lemon juice would be a bit better.Meatball: good texture, sauce was decent but tasted a bit canned. Still was fine to me.Carbonara: Claimed to be authentic and waiter told me “how often you make carbonara anyway”. Funny statement cause I actually do make my own carbonara. Carbonara felt like they used cream instead of egg yolk. Can see residual cream after pasta is finish. Perhaps is a different type of authentic vs what Luciano makes.Ragu short rib pasta: decent. I think this was the best dish of the night.Pork chop: a bit over cooked but thick pork chop is a bit hard to execute. I’ll give this one a pass.Tiramisu: cream is a bit too thick. I’ll call this nyc style tiramisu vs Italian style tiramisuSide note, no one came by to ask us for cheese on top when pasta was delivered. No “say when” moment for grating cheese.I tried to be as honest as possible given that carbonara and ragu/tagliatelle is something I enjoy the most. Maybe I should have got both short rib and tagliatelle and skip the carbonara.

I ordered the aglio e olio and it tasted horrendous—just straight salt and not a single piece of garlic in sight. However, they were kind enough to remake it for me at no charge, and it was MUCH better and definitely worth the price. The atmosphere is perfect, the workers are very kind, and they have a clear commitment to customer satisfaction, but I 100% agree with the reviews that say the quality is inconsistent. They are clearly capable of making high-end food, but it should be the standard.

Traditional Italian food. Great atmosphere and service. If you are used to eating in an Italian restaurant, there is nothing surprising. At least the carbonara wasn’t… even though it was very good!

All around great experience, this Roman inspired restaurant offers ambiance, quality service, and tasty food. Pairing the wine came easy with their Sommelier, server was attentive with a splash of personality, he offered his “best dishes” and when ordering them it was certain he was not wrong. Short rib ragu, the pork chop, meatballs, all was to be desired.

My girlfriend and I showed up on a busy Friday night at 7:40 without a reservation and were greeted by a friendly hostess who told us she didn't have a table. We sat at the bar and would have been happy there but before we got a drink we were whisked off to a table in the back (much quieter than the bustling front room). If the weather was a bit warmer, we would have taken one of the nicely set tables out front. The waiter and bus staff was perfect as was the pasta we ordered. Next time in Soho we will be sure to book a reservation.

Place is very cute and the service was amazing. However food was very average, some even being subpar. The lobster pasta had no flavor and lacked lots of sauce. But the spaghetti & clams and bucatini were good.

Never had a negative experience with this place. My mom and I love to come here for a girls night. It’s so cozy, the food is literally incredible… like it’s almost like you’re in Italy and everyone is so so so nice!

It's by far the worst Italian food I've had. The cacio e pepe is very bland and the carbonara tastes weird. The cocktail is not good (had to replace it but still wrong). Great service nonetheless.
