I've been a loyal customer of The Lure for years, and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious—standouts include their Shrimp Tempura dish, which is always fresh and bursting with flavor. The nautical-themed interior, designed to resemble a ship, creates a unique and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit special. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience. My friend and I can't get enough of their sake martinis—perfectly balanced and a must-try! Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this is a spot you'll want to keep coming back to.

Not the greatest table directly next to the service station but the food, drinks and service were good. Loud as always.

An amazing time. This was the first time we been here since the Pandemic. Just as good as we remember and we will be back.

We liked the restaurant. The food was good as were the wine & cocktails. Service was hit and miss but the main reason why I didn't give better scores was the unbearable noise level, particularly in the bare area where we were seated. I couldn't hear my companion who sat across the table from me.

We love Lure Fishbar, it's our favorite spot in NYC. Great food, something for everyone on the menu, great vibe, wonderful team & always feel so welcome there.

I have been coming to Lure since it opened -- I have lived in the neighborhood since 1979. It has always been wonderful until recently. I went back to Lure about 6 months ago and had a terrible experience. The manager tried to make it up to me when we returned a few weeks later. Things improved. Just a few days ago, we tried again and this time was the absolute worst. 1) After getting our entire order wrong, the waiter called me "lady" repeatedly. 2) The restaurant charged us for potato chips which have been complimentary since it opened but apparently, now they charge $4. The waiter still managed to bus the bowl of half eaten chips during the meal. If we bought them, shouldn't they stay on the table? 3) The sushi was mediocre at best and it costs a fortune. 4) None of the sushi chefs are Japanese- our chef was clearly not Japanese and cut the fish like he was working at a deli counter. 5) When we complained to the Manager, he tried to smooth things over and asked if we wanted anything and we ordered a round of drinks. Apparently, he didn't really mean, "anything" since he charged us for the drinks. Only after sharing his calling card with us and told us he is a "tailor" and if we need anything sewn or altered, he's our guy. After that exchange, our sushi chef had his back turned to us and was reading his phone. All of this can be chalked up to a bad night at the sushi bar, but I had called ahead to tell the general manager that we were coming and the entire experience cost close to $500 for 2 people. Lure is not worth the money nor the time it took to get a semblance of a meal. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

We pregamed at the bar. The bartenders are always friendly and really chill. It's like they're just hanging out there with you Reservation was at 7 so we got seated after a few drinks and ordered the largest seafood tower and some sushi. Always delicious. We added some more drinks. My margaritas were perfect.

We had a great experience. The host desk team was super nice, our table was ready when we arrived and we had a wonderful server. Management from the restaurant came by repeatedly just to check in on us and make sure everything was OK. We loved the whole experience. The food was fantastic, our appetizer is delicious, have some sushi. It's amazing! We both had fish specials, which were terrific and significant size. The cocktails, did I mention those they were fab. I would definitely go back to Lure fish bar with colleagues, or a perfect spot for a date. There's a sexy crowd, great music and a wonderful bar.

Consistently wonderful, but room for improvement. As always, the experience was excellent overall. However, I was disappointed to find that three out of the four sake selections I requested were unavailable. Given how well sake keeps when refrigerated and how simple it is to update a printed menu, this felt like a preventable oversight.

Food, service and choices are exceptional. Tyre's a reason this place has survived for so long. The staff is very attentive in a very busy space and everything we ate was delicious!

First time dining at Lure, though we've walked past this restaurant many times while my daughter was staying at the Paulson center. The ambiance is just amazing, it really feels like dining inside a high end ship. The staff is top notch, very friendly, attentive and fast moving. The maître d' was especially helpful as our servers became busy with some large tables. He really stepped in and helped us a lot. The food was excellent. My daughters and I ordered several sushi rolls and my husband had the salmon entree. We also had the plum fairy cocktail and the deep dish cookie with ice cream for dessert. All were excellent. This restaurant is something special and we will be back!

Our dinner was so delicious! Had the halibut, lobster and sushi and it was all so fresh and well prepared. Only complaint was that the noise level is so high. Definitely going back again soon!
