Móle Mexican Bar & Grill - Upper East Side

Food was good but they screwed up our order and then overcharged us and it wasn’t even busy. My husband ordered the torta which was supposed to come with fries. When the food was served there were no fries so we asked where they were. They finally brought fries and when I looked at our bill again I see they charged us $9 extra for fries! Won’t be going back.

This was one of my favorite Places to go for a good Dinner with my Fam & Friends, we visited Mole last night to celebrate My 2 best friends’ birthday! I spent over $1000 dollars for 5 of us!! but the way the Manager/Owner treated us at the end wasn’t very nice! After I paid everything I asked the server for another round, so the manager/owner came and said! WHAT YOU WANT? In a very rude way!
I said can we get another round! she said yes but not the birthday Guy, he’s too drunk!! Im a manager at a restaurant too! And trust me I never treat people like this!! Specially if they already spend over $1,000 dollars!! The food is fantastic!! But the staff is very very bad! (Not the busboy) or the lady that was fixing the tables!! (Very humble woman)
The owner manager should learn something from this other woman!

Service was great. Atmosphere was cute. I’ve had better Mexican food at 3 Margaritas. The near empty restaurant on a weekend night should have been a clue but even then the food was surprisingly bad, bland, and soupy/mushy. Especially for that price point.

After walking around in the heat, we went in for a margarita. They didn’t disappoint. The ceviche and tacos were very good. It was the right choice

We came here because we were doing laundry next door. It was nice, the nachos have a good size and are very tasteful. We also had the queso fundido with chorizo and it was good but if I had to pick, I’ll stick with the nachos. The passionfruit margarita was the highlight for me and the service. Andrea was our server and she was super friendly. Thanks for everything

Avoid this restaurant unless you want a cockroach crawling on you while you eat! Molé was one of the places I’ve wanted to visit so I went in with high expectations but the experience was truly unpleasant. We were seated on the inside of the restaurant and after placing our order, we waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive while the table that were seated later with party of 5 were served first and left when we got our food. The most unsettling part was when a giant cockroach crawled onto me while I was eating. This was not only traumatizing but also raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards. Seriously disappointing experience and I highly advise people to stay away from this cockroach infested restaurant.

relaxing and smooth, I stopped by for happy hour around 2:57pm and had a red sangria and white sangria! The Music was AWESOME!

The client relations representative, Andres was the best at hosting & also has exceptional customer service. We had awesome conversation. And I appreciate his willingness to chit chat while I was enjoying a drink! 🌱🚀🤝🫂

Delicious Mexican food. Really friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. I'd highly recommend visiting Móle Cantina if you want to try authentic Mexican food.

My favorite place for fish tacos!

We were ready to move past the dirty water glasses because they replaced them quickly. After an hour of waiting for food we asked for an update, twenty minutes later we asked for another (we never got that first update). This was when we were told they lost our ticket and they asked if we still wanted our food.

I wish we could have had the enchiladas, they sounded delicious, but we opted to get food somewhere with reliable service.

On a positive note the empanada appetizer was yummy. Not sure how they managed the appetizer but missed all entrees.

The waiter made no effort to comp our drinks or make up for the awful service.

The food was not good at all very bland no flavor. The manager was very rude. Very nasty. They did not pay attention to you. They didn’t give you great customer service. I asked for change so I can give the waitress a tip. The restaurant manager told me they did not have change how they did not have change if it is a restaurant Will definitely not go back would not recommend this restaurant at all

I went to Mole Cantina restaurant because it had good reviews. I order tacos with meat but they did not have, which was very surprising. Maybe because on the menu it was not that expensive. I decided to order Pico de gallo & jalapeño Nachos. To my surprise it was not that great. Very little chicken and sauce , jalapeño and cheese. I had also ordered drinks during happy hours 4 fruit and mongo margaritas, happy hour price was expensive at $12 ea and when served it had more ice than liquor and not able to taste the fruits. I also decided to order Bisteck A La Mexicana, the food was a little too much salt , its rice tasted like box rice and dry. The service was ok , and the waitress was very attentive and I did express my concern of the food and drinks. That is why I gave it a 2 stars. I think they need a chef that knows how to cook authentic Mexican dishes. As a business owner who travels a lot, I try to go to different restaurants to try different ethnic foods and dishes.
