My favorite! I always get a coffee light and a peanut cake. The lady inside is very kind and cool and always happy to see me. She’s always very helpful. I love this place.

The Japanese cheesecake was airy, fluffy and light. It has a subtle cheese flavor that is not overpowering or sweet. The Taro Crepe was not for me. It wasn't my favorite but I see why people would love it. The outer shell was nice and flaky but the filling was a bit too dense for me

i know there’s a lot of bakeries in chinatown, and this one seems pretty unassuming. you might be tempted by the lines at mei lai wah, or by the shiny counters at taipan. trust me — try this place first.

the pork bun is fresh and well balanced. the custard buns are filled with creamy eggy deliciousness. the sponge is light and fluffy. also the lady behind the counter will explain things to you if you don’t know what to get!

cash only, like all good chinatown spots

The bao dough here is fragrant and the pork inside is right amount. I come here to buy the coconut meringue.

Not sure why but the person was quite aggressive and refused service. Is it because I’m a Mandarin/English speaker? Idk. I greeted the person asked nicely for the item. She didn’t bothered talking to me and only responded with short Cantonese phrases even though she does understand English and ofc this is definitely not her first time interacting w English speakers. A kind customer had to stepped in and translated for me. I don’t understand much Cantonese but I did understand swear words and I could hear the lady talking shit about me.

One of my new favorite bakeries in china town. The woman behind the counter was extremely helpful and sweet. She helped me pick the egg tart and pineapple role (which was freshly baked and still warm). The pineapple role was incredible, but the egg tart was unbelievably good. Will be coming back and telling all my friends

Great little bakery located in Chinatown. Sell more sweet pastries than hot dog bun stuff. Did have phenomenol bachang. Great egg tarts. Very affordable. There are a couple chairs inside, but ultimately plan to takeout. Would recommend.

Thank you m&w bakery for being here. We use to talk my niece and nephew here on Saturdays after their Chinese school. We enjoyed this place after celebration meals like their graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day.My favorite is the sponge cake, white puffy bread with Chinese sausage, coconut flake mochi ball with sugar and peanuts inside. I wish I knew the names of each of the aluminum tray bread with different fillings read beans, mung beans,etc.. . My absolute must have are the raisin breads -WoW everytime. Their raisin bread has never let me down.Sometimes it’s feels like pastry shops are dime a dozen, always avail and everywhere in Chinatown, BUT for me, this will always be my favorite. This will always be the one that I bring my niece, nephew, son and family to whenever we are in town or have a chance to stop byThank you
