In general, food presentation are great, most items including drinks are kinda blend tbh, the raw items are okay not great… and the price is too expensive for the food portion and taste wise. I will only come back for the French toast. Its a must-try (weekend brunch only) One of the best French toast in the city :) the decoration and atmosphere deserved a 5 stars.

Superb chef - impecable service - adorable single-column seating restaurant with ridiculously cute decor in best possible way / concise succinct menu with sharing plates perfectly presented. Alex was outstanding server - Jack was a gentleman shuttling food to the table - our Irishman was also exemplary. Aileen was superb.
I’d give them a full 5 stars if it weren’t for the poor people-skilled business prevention manager who insisted we stand outside at 5:27pm - “we open at 5:30 please wait outside” when the door was already unlocked ?♂️.
A more diverse wine list would be beneficial
i’d suggest you give them a try - just avoid the CPA.

Dumplings were excellent, ricotta gnudi was the best gnudi I’ve ever had. The tomato dish was the best tomato dish I’ve had of the season. Scallop Crudo was awesome. Miso butterfish blew my face off. This place is a gem. Go. Go now.

I visited Ma.de based on @thekatieromero's restaurant review and was left very disappointed. Despite looking forward to it all week, the brunch menu offered tiny portions and fell short of being a true brunch spot. The service was slow, the food lacked flavor, and considering the portions and quality, it felt overpriced. Having lived in Bali for a year, I was particularly disappointed that the food didn’t capture the authentic Balinese flavors I had hoped for. Overall, it felt like I had been led there under false pretenses, almost like a paid ad.

I really really want to like this place, but the execution isn’t fully there. There were great elements but I thought the seafood wasn’t super fresh for the price, and some of the dishes were a bit bland. The hot menu items were actually the best part, and the presentation was beautiful. Loved the cocktails. This is still a newer restaurant so I hope they can get better!
