Absolutely awful service and terrible place. If you want a pretentious and rude staff serving $14 French fries that’s not as good as McDonald’s, this is your place. Out of all of the places I’ve been on this planet, this place is at the very bottom. I’d rate this place a Michelin because its food taste like old tires.

Terrible experience here. The tall brunette server sat my family (with kids). My kids decided to go checkout the bookstore next door and then when they tried to come back in the hostess would not let them in with no ID. AFTER SOMEONE ALREADY SAT US WITH OUR KIDS???? When I tried to ask the hostess and our server they had horrible attitudes and treated my family terribly. We didn’t have time to finish our food and drinks and had to pay our tab and leave. Horrible service. Bad drinks. This establishment should be embarrassed on how they treat their customers. $200 later and had to leave based on their mess up sitting my kids at a place that was over age. Whomever the tall brunette server is and the hostess should be working at McDonald’s with that attitude.
lovely staff, dynamic cocktail menu with fun options, cozy and decorated venue

Last night my girlfriend and I were walking past Mace we decided to go in to get a drink. The first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of feet that permeated the bar. The hosts and servers were excellent so we thought we would move past the smell, the bar was packed so we figured it had to have something to offer. I ordered the Spruce and my girlfriend ordered the Harissa. The Harissa genuinely tasted like stomach bile, it was disgusting. The Spruce was a bit better but was so sickeningly sweet I couldn’t drink more than a few sips. We also had two shots of some weird rum punch concoction, neither of us could finish that either. We left pretty quickly after coming and will never return. Despite not having finished any of our drinks both of us felt pretty ill when we got home. Don’t waste your money here.

This place is a fantastic cocktail bar! 🍸 Mace serves a wonderful selection of unique cocktails 🍹 - definitely get the Strawberry 🍓 Gum cocktail or Kinako cocktail (it's eggnog-y 🥚) if you like sweet drinks 🥤 or the Parsley 🌿 cocktail or Pandan cocktail of you rather it be savory. The place is beautifully decorated 🛋️, the staff 👨🍳 is super friendly and professional, ambience 🎶 is great, and the service is quick. ⏲️ I wish I came here sooner!

Stumbled upon Mace on a Friday afternoon and was so pleasantly surprised. The cocktail menu is so lovely and well thought out. Ambiance was cozy, music was spot on and our server was lovely. We went back 2 days later for round two.

Happy hour on weekdays from 4-7pm! The sichuan pepper drink was tasty! Complex, but balanced with a hint of sichuan spice. Pandan milk punch was smooth!

The Mace Bar in New York is a true paradise for cocktail lovers! 🍹
The drinks there are simply magical - every glass is a little work of art, perfectly balanced and full of surprising flavors. The ambience is equally captivating: stylish, elegant and full of energy. My personal highlight? An unplanned small talk with the legendary Mr. Tolmach himself! 🌟 A visit to Mace Bar is like traveling to another world - fascinating, inspiring and absolutely unforgettable. If you're in New York, you shouldn't miss this treat!

Ben, and the other bar staff here are always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Great place for a cocktail inspired by a Spice, a classic well made Martini or daiquiri, or simply a Japanese Highball.

Cocktails are mediocre. One that we ordered definitely didn’t have any alcohol in it. In a good location at least.

Amazing cocktail bar with great food, atmosphere, and superb service! Last night, our group of ten had a reservation at Lillie’s, but it got canceled three hours prior, forcing us to improvise. I'm so glad we ended up at Mace!
First and foremost, kudos to the incredible hostess who quickly found a spot for our large group. From there, everything was fantastic - perfect snacks, intricate cocktails, a friendly server, and fast, accommodating service. Each of us ordered a different drink, and they arrived seemingly in no time. Overall, we had the best time! I also want to mention that the bar isn’t small; it’s intimate yet spacious.

Lovely cocktail bar! The drinks were sophisticated, and a beauty to behold. I had a couple of appetizers from the late night bar menu; I imagine their full dining program is also a success. Fantastic!
