Went here with a friend a few months back when outdoor dining was feasible in NYC. It was a little windy out so I had to be careful while eating but the turkey burger and fries I had here were really good. The friend I came with spoke highly of the place and he was right about it. There was definitely the social distancing and we got our own sealed plastic utensils for our order. No complaints from me.

Really fun bar with a solid menu! The buffalo tenders are always my favorite, and they have a great beer/drink selection. My friends & I love to go to trivia on Wednesday nights!

I stopped by for a couple of drinks and ended up staying for a few hours. Since we are still in the midst of a pandemic, Mad River has some outdoor seating on the sidewalk. It looks like the outdoor area can accommodate about 15 folks. Do not quote me on this because I have a few gin and sodas so this number might be due to booze-induced double vision. ;) Fortunately, a large portion of the outdoor area is covered by some scaffolding which can provide some protection from the elements. There were a couple of rain showers during our visit, but we remained dry for the most part. Alex, the bartender, was pretty on top of things during our visit. The cocktail prices are pretty normal; meaning that Mad River is not price gouging (unlike some other establishments in the area) because of COVID. All in all, I hope to visit the bar again and have the full experience once this pandemic is over.

came here on a date night with my mom! I misplaced my retainers, the bouncer, the kitchen staff and Alex they went above and beyond to help find them.GOD BLESS THEM. The atmosphere was amazing. Definetly coming back! THANKS GUYS...FROM RAE & ROSA

Went with a large group to Mad River for New Years Eve. Everyone who worked at the bar was great & kind, we had a large space in the back and were treated very well. Rodrigo was great to set up a private party with and he was willing to work with any changes I had. I highly recommend coming here for a night out with friends and working with Rodrigo for a private party if you need one!

Food was AMAZING!! definitely 5 stars!! John was absolutely the sweetest person ever. He brought us a free desert and was just the sweetest human ever. I definitely recommend this place and if you get John as your bartender or waiter consider your self a lucky customer!!!! We are from Florida and will be back again just to stop here.

Visited on a Sunday night , my friends and I wanted to grab diner and not so much to drink . We were the only group of people located at one of the tables the bar was full. There was one worker , the bartender. The bartender was nice but that was about it . It took 25 minutes to get appetizers , which I think he forgot to put in off rip. Our main course another 25-30 minutes . It was four of us , ordering regular beers and he would take the order and come back to ask what we ordered to remind him. I wasn't happy with the overall experience and the food was not very good . We looked like the only people eating in there so the wait was unacceptable. We ordered chicken tacos (chicken had no seasoning) Tater Tot nachos , covered in lots of sauce . Wings were good Brussel spouts with bacon , I couldn't taste the bacon (I don't think there was any). I looked forward to this place, it wasn't a good choice.

Our job had a Christmas Party there and had a great time. We had private area upstairs with top shelf liquor, sliders, and tasty finger food, with attractive hostesses. Great time, see you next year.
