Best meal of our NYC weekend was at Madame Vo. Arrived without a reservation at 5:30pm (opening) on a Saturday and the restaurant very quickly filled up. The pork vermicelli was fantastic. The pork was deliciously glazed and blended so well with all the flavours in the bowl. To me, the deep fried spring rolls resembled Chinese spring rolls more than Vietnamese, but they were so tasty regardless. Nice to have sliced jalapeno peppers served with the pho, instead of only the usual thai chillies.

Tasty, but not enough. In addition to the dumplings, we also took rolls - this restaurant has reduced portions, so we didn’t get full (although in the video they look like big dumplings). We also calculated VAT for each dish at 8%

We enjoyed the food, especially the cua lột rang muối, but the food came out way too quickly. Spring rolls came out less than a minute after the order was taken and we saw a table next to us get their pho a minute after their order was taken. While I appreciate fast service this made me feel like food was all premade and just waiting to be ordered. It also made it feel like we were expected to be in and out which isn’t great when you’re spending $50 a person (without even alcohol!).

Service was absolutely lovely and food came out promptly. One appetizer blew my mind (crispy shrimp rolls). A vegetarian noodle entree was extremely edible. The pho, on the other hand… may be the worst broth I’ve tasted. Anywhere. So disappointing that I think the vegan mushroom broth was more flavorful. No depth, little aroma, essentially lacking love. A Vietnamese place that features pho needs to (at least try to) nail it. Thus, unfortunately, the highlights of the meal can’t bring up their rating. Particularly at this price—save yourself the heartache and head to downtown BK and Fort Greene.Don’t have photographs, but the dishes are beautiful.

Everytime I come here I always get the pho and don’t forget to add the short rib!

I had a lovely time having dinner at Madame Vo! The service was great and the food was delicious. I split the wings, which were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For my main entree, I had the bun bo hue, which was so good! The broth was very flavorful and the noodles were cooked well. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was sweet and refreshing. I definitely plan on coming back to try their other dishes!

Can not recommend this place enough. It offer authentic and delicious Vietnamese food and great prices. How sever was simply fantastic, recommending we order afew appetisers and then when ready your main courses. This allowed us to judge how much we could still eat. It also allowed us to enjoy and not feel rushed.Tip, it’s highly recommended you book but they do take walk-in, but you might have to wait. Note: we went on a Friday night.

We loved the grilled pork dish. It was perfect, moist, tender. The friends pho was also really good too - overall recommended.

Loved the grilled pork dish (5/5) - the pork was perfectly charred and the fat rendered giving a moist, tender, and extremely flavorful cut of pork. They also give you a very good amount of food so the $22 isn't too bad. My friends pho (4.5/5) was really good too - overall I'd recommend!

While somewhat pricey, this is one of the very few restaurants I've been to that can rival my grandmother's pho. The broth is loaded with flavor and had generous portions of meat, so I would say it's worth the price. The pandan soy milk was also lovely.
