I have been going to Magnolia for years and never had any issues. The service was always great and the cupcakes were always fresh and delicious. The last couple of times I bought cupcakes, they were dry, the icing looked extremely sloppy. And, the workers are extremely rude and clearly have no interest in customer service.

I wanted to share my disappointment with the recent changes to your cake offerings. After decades of buying your single cake slices — a ritual that began when Magnolia Bakery was truly a New York City icon since 1996 — I can no longer justify returning.
The cakes you now serve are not the same as the ones that defined your bakery’s legacy. It’s unfortunate that the very products that built your reputation have been changed. Until you return to offering the original cakes that made Magnolia famous, I will not be purchasing single cake slices

So disappointed on my recent purchase ive tried magnolia cupcakes before but today my husband picked up some monster cupcakes i was really excited to try them because they have always been good and of course they looked cute but when i opened the box and took them out all of them were really small looks like they were baked in my kitchen i think i couldve done a better job and all of them were chocolate flavor i asked my husband why they only gave him chocolate flavor he said the lady told him thats all they had and was really rude and he is the type to ignore employees like that i had to throw them away because not only were they very small but also very dry almost 40 dollars for those small cupcakes i was extremely disappointed !!!!!!

Magnolia this location is the worst !!!! The customer service is horrible. I was waiting on line the lady worker looks at me says nothing then says politely greats the wyt man behind me. Then another worker looks at me in line then proceeds to take his order and ignore me. I tell the lady I was here first and she says oh. I leave. The rudeness of the workers. I will be reporting this to Corporate. Such rudeness will not be tolerated

It's one of my fav and have been there many times, but my recent purchase was very disappointing. My husband picked up the cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, unlike the usual taste, the icing taste cheap and sugary. I can't even taste the buttermilk. It feels like the kitchen ran out buttermilk and just dumped a bucket of sugar in it and called a day. So disappointing given it's the girls' birthday.

Came in here because yknow for the trend and honestly thought it would be overrated but it was actually so worth the hypeeee. Banana pudding was sooo goood and I HATE bananas but it’s was creamy and light and not too sweet and the atmosphere was nice too !!! Would go back

I always get the banana pudding, tried experimenting this time and got a pastry as well but ended up not liking it. It was a little too dense for my taste, but the pudding always hits the spot, consistent taste.
