Matcha Cafe Maiko is my favorite spot for desserts! This spot is my go-to, especially when I'm craving matcha or hojicha flavors. The Maiko Special is always one of my favorites to order and share with a friend, but this month's specials were black sesame which I knew I had to try as well! I ordered the black sesame soft serve and my friend ordered the black sesame latte, and both were incredible! I'm a huge fan of black sesame flavored desserts, and these really hit the spot.
Also loved how the shop was decorated beautifully for Halloween! Amazing quality desserts, service, and vibes. I also appreciate how this location has a few benches outside, so when I visit with friends, we're able to sit together right outside the shop and enjoy our desserts. I've been here several times and will definitely will keep coming back!

We ordered Maiko special which you can choose the flavor of ice cream and soft serve. I really love Matcha ice cream not too sweet and perfect combination with moji and red beans. There is a small spot you can sit in the front of the store.

Ice cream is really good and actually taste like matcha , but i’ve been here going on 3 times and it seems like there are only kind to Asians. Any questions I asked were answered with an attitude or snarky undertone and my order was misheard and when i got My cup they insisted that I didn’t say that and eventually fixed the issues but again with an attitude and eye rolls. I wish i had other options for good matcha ice cream with better customer service. Below was the first time i went , I didn’t record the last few times.

this is the perfect spot if you’re craving a sweet treat! they have a variety of items from frappe, soft swerve and more. I got their black sesame which is here for a limited time and it’s a must try! the black sesame flavor is there in every bite. can’t wait to come back and try other items!

We were at this location a few weeks ago. Ordered Matcha soft serve cup. It was the worst matcha ice cream we ever had. It didn't taste like matcha and it didn't have the smooth consistency. We love Philadelphia Chinatown location the best, less expensive and tastes so much better.

Overhyped, the matcha was ok and it’s within a ramen restaurant so you can only take to go. I got the matcha latte with soft serve and it was definitely grainy.
The quality of the matcha seems to be pretty good, however, upon ordering an iced matcha latte, not only did it take ages to be made, but the person who made me the drink was learning and didn't mix the matcha with the water well. It ended up being powdery and it was not well blended. I am quite disappointed as I had high hopes and the experience was bad as I had to throw more than half my drink to the trash.

Dessert options were great and beautiful. The employees were patient with explaining their products when we were indecisive. The lychee soft serve was pleasant and unexpectedly yummy. We just wished there was some seating available. There were only benches. My group probably would’ve tried more items from the menu if they had better seating. The natural caffeine from the matcha products kept us going all night. I usually get super sleepy around 10/11PM but stayed up til 4AM with no issues. Might be a good idea to eat matcha desserts earlier in the day if you’re sensitive to caffeine!

Found this cute little spot who loves matcha just as much as me. I order an ube latte , Maiko Special , and a lychee soft serve. The staff were so friendly they even gave me a fresh baked cookie to try.
I love anything lychee and the soft serve didn’t disappoint. They have seasonal flavors and this is the current one till October I believe. Than comes black sesame , yum.
The ube latte had the perfect balance of sweetness . Not too sweet but sweet enough. I have been loving how popular ube has gotten as its has great benefits and is just simply delicious.
The Maiko special was a dessert like no other. It had ingredients that I had not tried before but was so good. This was the most fulfilling item I picked up. Inside were some beans or what looked like beans and it was soooooo good . I have no idea what it was but highly recommend.
& if you get lucky enough to get the cookies while they are fresh out the oven , you neeed to try one. Even if they arent , its a must try. They are made in house and have a little mochi inside.
