I had Make my Cake do my 50th bday cake. I called for a quick consultation because I had questions. They walked me through what to do on the website. I went in person made a deposit on Monday and gave them the decorations for my cake & cupcakes. They reviewed what I wanted and it was fresh for pick up. I did a Red velvet cake and cupcakes. It was amazing service and my cake was delicious. Recommend this place! I will be back

I was excited to try this local bakery but left feeling incredibly disappointed. The prices are astronomically high, even for hand made products and the cakes aren't even worth the price. The cakes themselves don't look that amazing, they look like your average Walmart style cake and yet are 3x the price for worse quality. The staff were nice, I'll give them that, but that was the only perk of the visit. I absolutely do not recommend.

Quite delicious cake spot here in Harlem. The portion was perfect for the price. And the moistness, flavor and sweetness was just right, not overly sweet. I had their carrot cake and it hit the spot. Also black owned. 🙌🏾

I'm not someone who enjoys cake. But the two pieces I purchased where delicious. Highly recommend the German chocolate cake, and coconut cake with the pineapple filling. Both were moist, light and not overly sweet.

And secondly even more ashamed to take my money after destroying the photo I sent to have put on the cake. They really played in my face, please don't allow them to play in yours. Definitely one of the best spots in the city. A Harlem staple, this bakery has some of the most authentic flavors without compromising on quality. It's difficult to scale up home made recipies to maintain the original intent, but they've done it. Also, the staff at this particular locationn are professional and friendly. Sorry to say I can't say that for all bakeries of this type.
