I was overcharged $15 after I paid everything. Their service was super slow, the lady was rude, and the food was meekly portioned, low quality, and tasted horrible. Wanted to go somewhere authentic with my friends from Ireland and this was not it. Don't recommend this place at all.

This place is an oasis in the desert of BS bars that surround it. If you just want a place to drink a beer and be comfortable, this is your only option in the area. So glad it exists.

Good Guinness. Disappointing customer service. The lady manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Our group of eight ordered six drinks, and she insisted we either purchase more or leave, which felt unreasonable and unwelcoming.

Malachy's has no equal on the upper west side. It is the perfect Irish dive bar and, as I prepare to leave the neighborhood, I will miss stopping in for a beer here once every week or so immensely.

Bartender was far from polite, beers weren’t cold, Mule wasn’t a mule. The whole place smelt like a bathroom as well. Definitely wouldn’t recommend
