I really want to like this place, because it is really cute, at the pier, and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. My food experience left much to be desired. I ordered the shaved brussels sprout salad. I love brussels and figured I couldn't go wrong with it. I think that because brussels sprout was in the name, I assumed that was a majority of the salad, however the chrysanthemum greens made up a majority of it and chrysanthemum is such an overpowering green I had to send it back. The shaved brussels if placed together I would be surprised if it made up more than 3 sprouts.I ordered instead, the grilled chicken sandwich with a sunny-side up egg. They have a brocolli mashed potato side that was creative and delicious but the dish overall was just ok. I think overall I had my mind set on my initial order and was disappointed in the outcome.I would go back because again, I thought it was a really cute place. And finding a restaurant that is so accomodating with gluten free options is hard to come by, and Malibu delivered on options.Dietary restrictions: Tons of options for people with gluten intolerances.

The food is awesome - fresh, flavorful, and feels healthy. It's a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it for the quality you get. The staff are super friendly and make the experience even better. It's popular for business lunches, but also great for a casual meal. The place has a nice, laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Definitely recommend.

Had a good time here. Food was nice and reasonable in price although not outstanding. Service was a bit slow and got our drinks order wrong. Our friends who had a baby with them said the changing facilities weren’t very good.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, lots of babies around. Although our friends who had a baby with them said the changing facilities weren’t very good.

One of my absolute favorites in the Seaport district. With imaginative cocktails and fresh ingredients, there isn’t an item on the menu that you’ll be disappointed by. While I typically try to call out a dish or two, it’s just too hard at Malibu Farm given the high quality and tastiness of all their dishes.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options.Wheelchair accessibility: This is on the first floor of the Pier and is accessible by wheelchair chair.

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the young blonde hostess had no idea what she was doing. Luckily, another girl came and helped us get a table after waiting almost an hour (we were told a 25-30 min. wait). The food was extremely fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was great too!

The food was everything I was hoping it would be -- definitely California farm-to-table style. But it was very quiet the day we were there and yet the service was very slow and pretty pricey for what it was. I would likely go back if there if I was down in Seaport, but I wouldn't be traveling downtown specifically to visit Malibu Farm.
