We bought a box of chocolate chip cookies for dessert this Thanksgiving to see what the overall reaction would be compared to years previous where we’ve brought your competitors. You’ll be happy to know Maman has taken the front row. Overall consensus ,best cookie -all around in flavor, texture and freshness. Not too sweet, not too thick , the perfect constancy. Hands down our favorite.

It was raining and miserable and we just wanted some food. A quick Uber ride from Central Park got us here for some much needed sustenance in the morning.

I picked Carol's tomato basil soup ($9) and a large honey lavender iced latte with whole milk ($5.75). The soup came out not too hot and chilled at some parts, which was fine. While coming back from the MET, we stopped here for a quick coffee. It was around 6 PM, so I’m guessing it was close to closing time.

Whenever I go to a coffee shop—especially a local one—I prefer getting my drink in a proper cup instead of those plastic ones. Anyway, I ordered a classic latte, but the taste felt very generic and nothing special to me.

The ambience was good and the service was nice too; I just didn’t really connect...
